Like her character, Temperance, kudos for Ms Deschanel working so late in her term to bring us such fun. It had to be tough. I can see certain accommodation made in the story to make things as easy as possible for her. That accounted for the isolated awkward moments - Wendell & Hodges in the field together. Really?
I am glad to see this change in B&B's relationship from friends to loving parents-to-be. FINALLY! IMO. I felt season 6 was the season that got sidetracked. Now they are back on track - together. Maybe its helped that my husband became a fan this summer & our family spent the last few months watching all 6 previous seasons chronological order. What fun!
Let's see what the rest of short season 7 brings!
Signed,
Longtime fan.

Brennan's crying may have been unusual but it fit perfectly with her character. Nothing about Bones runs to the unusual. Thats what makes her such a great character.

dr brennan was really horrible. I'm watching it again, her crying was badly done, totally unbelievable. What is wrong with her upper lip? it doesn't move.... yuck
While I'm glad that they finally are together it feels forced, like they just wanted to include the pregnancy. How can I believe that these two were suddenly an instant couple? I loved this show but this kind of ruins it for me.

While I understand the murder was a complete side story in this episode, I was still dissapointed that I knew the doctor did it after about a minute. Normally, with Bones, it takes at least a while longer.
On another note, I get that Brennan is supposed to be hyper rational and all, but how could she even think that she was treating the living situation well? I think her character is treated with many inconsistencies - sometimes she knows much about normal people, not from experience, but from study. Other times, like in this case, she understands nothing at all and it's all wiped under the heading of her being a foster kid? I don't think so.
Otherwise, a strong episode. It was great to see the two back in action, and how adorable was that baby??

I'm very disappointed. I thought the episode itself was good, but I wanted to see the previous five months of her pregnancy. I wanted to see everyone's reaction to them even being together, not to mention her being pregnant. I was very much looking forward to those things over the past few years, and I sort of feel like they were stolen from me as a fan of the show and characters.

I loved seeing B&B again. Feels like forever since we last saw them. That being said, the episode was not one of my favorites. Booth really got my dander up with all the bickering this episode. I feel like, we've waited sooooooo long for these two to be together and I guess I just wanted to see a bit more lovey dovey stuff, but I am a bit of a romantic. It just seemed like they were a couple who has been married five YEARS instead of five months. For example, the bedroom scene, drinking a beer and watching sports in bed??? Give us some of the lovin' that we all missed out on. And, did anyone else notice all the talk of family, but not a word about Booths' son Parker???? What the?????? All in all it was an enjoyable episode but not a lot to talk about at work around the water cooler, ya know???
Loved it! Could they, would they, WILL they possibly have a flashback episode of Bones et al finding out that she is pregnant, how Booth received this information and how they came up with a compromise for the situation? thank you, writers.

Loved the new show and it's time for Booth and Brennan to get together.Be interested to see how this all plays out with her having money and he not making alot..
To Amanda: You seriously named your children after Booth & Brennan? Wow, that is devotion to your show. And here I thought I was a hard-core fan. Kudos to you.

I loved the episode, I was always worried about them getting together and I was wrong. They have always had a brother sister type of relationship (just like my children Seeley and Temperance) and I think the fun banter between them will only get better. I can't wait to see more. My little Seeley and Tempe always like watching their namesakes too.

I loved the show and am in love with the newest addition - baby Michael - he is absolutely the cutest!! The writers have stayed true-to-form with the entire cast. B2 is great as a team at work and as friends (and now lovers!) on the outside. Can't wait to see how it all unfolds and what they'll have!!All I can say is Bravo, keep up the good work (maybe you should give writing lessons the Hawaii 5-0 writers - they need help BAD)

I really enjoyed last night's episode of Bones. I love the revised opening credits and the Brennan/Booth interaction was wonderful to watch. Loved the romantic kissing chemistry and even the bickering and comedy of ED and DB. This episode was exceptional and made up for a lot of the horrible things in season 6, especially the whole Hannah Booth story arc. Yuck.
Am so happy Brennan told Booth she loved him back. We've always been so sure about how Booth felt about Brennan and it was nice to hear the L word from Brennan.
Kudos to Hart Hanson, the writers and of course the wonderful acting of Emily Deschanel and David Boreanaz.

Not bad...only one grump in this lot. Good show, solid writing and believable growth in the characters, which is sometimes a challenge for writers. What I would really like to see is primary focus on the murder case at hand and brief updates on various character developments. Most of us want the birth to be a focal point for the abbreviated season, maybe with a wedding thrown in...then, once Emily returns, go back to solving crimes. Come on, writers...you can do it! There have been successful crime-fighting couples before.

I have to say that I oan't say if I'm going to like this season or not. I'll watch another episode and decide. I didn't like the emotional Bones and the arguments between Booth and Bones. Angela's baby was adorable.

Oh, it's gonna work out just fine. (Three cheers for on-site day care. If I could have had that forty years ago, I'd be a rich woman now.) It was great to see baby Michael, as well as to watch Angela coaxing Brennan into her new role.
Best scene: a disagreement, followed by Booth's saying, "I love you. We will work this out," and Brennan looking surprised. She knows he loves her, but she does not yet know what it means. I am completely in favor of women scientists, and I am delighted to see these women working it out, babies and all.
I absolutely loved this premier! B&B are back! That was definitely worth the wait.
B&B were so sweet together, but still "real" - still the same people. It will be very interesting to see how they work out their philosophical differences to raise their baby together.
Speaking of babies, could baby Hodgins have been any cuter?! I just want to pinch those little cheeks! Jack & Angela are terrific parents.
The case was a bit of a let down. As soon as I saw that psychologist smacking his gum, I knew he was the killer. But let's face it: no one was watching for the case this time. I do hope the producers/writers can find a balance between the actual cases and the characters' personal lives.
who was the memorial picture at the end of the show, looked like the name was Emily...?

I really did not enjoy this.
I watch the show for the relationship, and there was nothing particularly wrong in the portrayal in this episode. The problem was that the things I looked forward to seeing were what happened in the five months previous.
Very disappointed in the decision to flash forward without providing any flash BACKS.
I was worried, skeptical and worried :) that they would screw this up. Season 6 for me was the weakest in the series by far, and I prayed they would get Booth and Bones back on track.... HOORAY! With the exception of the murder case, which at this point, nobody really cared about, the episode was Pitch Perfect. Hart Hanson has kept his promise (so far), that the characters would keep being themselves, even though they had taken this big leap forward. I am so looking towards the rest of the season with my new found, renewed faith in BONES!
Brennan: I want to marry you. Will you marry me, Booth? Booth: Are you serious? Brennan: Yes. I've been afraid, I've been stubborn, and I've been in love. An...
