I'm surprised that fewer people talked about Cristina's Heart-in-a-Box story. I thought that was the best story. Teddy has spent all this time to get Cristina to learn humility and now that she has learned it she gets to learn to be a super star again. Before Cristina didn't dream, she just did. Now more and more possibilities will be open to her. Someday she will be a better cardiac surgeon than any of her teachers.
I liked the Callie/George's mom story because it shows how much Callie has grown since she was with him. She was a total disaster at that time. Remember her living in the basement of the hospital. Now she has a stable, happy relationship, a baby, a solid best friend, and exciting work to do.
I hope they don't let Henry die too soon after he and Teddy figuring out they are really in love. They are probably setting it up for Teddy to be single so that she can hook up with someone else or leave. I fear it will be Owen. I hope it will be Alex. He's so very expressive and

Hands down the best line of the night Alex: "George was a creep.", Christina: "Do you remember when you gave him syphilis?" . Classic Greys. I loved George's mom coming back too, felt like old greys.

It was the best thing that happened to this show when both George & Izzie left, they were both useless, have enjoyed it much more since they went.
i liked george and ive always miss him anyway its was nice seen mrs o malley and as for lexie i know that she still wants mark beside her and avery were doomed anyway and he had every right to walk away anyway i dont if henry will survive again or not i hope he will

Although I am growing to love the newer characters (Arizona, Jackson, Henry...April not so much) on Grey's my heart still belongs to the originals. I miss Izzie and George...especially George...I don't get that same OMG feeling while watching the show anymore. Remember when George's dad died and he yelled at the Chief and Bailey and said "He didn't know any better! You knew better!" OMg the acting was incredible. I miss that. I was happy the memory of George was pleasant, even by Alex at the end. The next episode looks thrilling so hopefully I get that feeling again.

I wasn't crazy about the epi last night. Parts I enjoyed and parts were just boring. I enjoyed the scenes with George's mom and Callie. I found it sad when Alex mentioned Izzie. He must still care about her, so why not bring her back to the show? We don't need KH if she is not interested in returning, have another actress play the part of Izzie. I can't imagine Alex with anyone but Izzie. I don't like Lexie's bangs. Mark is acting silly when it comes to Avery. It's almost like they are a couple. Please reunite Alex and Izzie. Thank you!

I didn't like this episode. Very boring, and way, way too much Lexi and Teddy. I never liked George, and this reminded me of how much more I prefer the show without him and Izzie. I adore Cristina, Meredith and Alex and their dynamic makes the show for me. There was too little of that in this episode.
I'm glad Avery dumped Lexi. That's all she deserved. Watching her sobbing through episode after episode like a toddler just grates. I'd rather see them hook up Mark and Avery and just lose Lexi entirely. April is annoying enough for both of them, anyway. No need for two of the same character.
I'm glad things are looking bad for Henry. He needs to go, and hopefully he takes Teddy away with him. Why is Teddy still on this show? Pointless.
I loved the real Chief with Cristina, and enjoyed the bar scene at the end. But can they please bring in a new girl for Alex and let him get over Izzie already? Like Cristina, he needs to move on ASAP.

@ Blu, you bring up some very good points.
I think Meredith was evasive with George's mother because talking about him brings up painful memories. I also think she didn't know how to handle Mrs. O'Malley's love and affection. She barely knew the woman but yet she cared deeply for Meredith and the same may not have been true for her. Meredith may have been embarrassed by it or felt ashamed for not keeping in touch. I think she tried to fix that by asking Callie to see her because Callie knew her better than they did and could give Mrs. O'Malley comfort. I don't know. But you're right. Meredith lost two children now (her pregnancy and Zola) and you would think, as a mom, she might indulge Mrs. O'Malley a little more than she did. Guess she still has to grow in this area.
I think I would have liked to see Cristina and Meredith share more George stories. You're right, they were very close to him once (though it seems they grew apart before he died) and his death hurt them.

I loved this episode for so many reasons....
Meredith and Bailey: They were my favorite scenes of the night. I'm so happy Bailey finally expressed the source of her anger with Meredith and, like a mom, gave her advice on what she should wear to the hearing. I figured Bailey was disappointed in Meredith but not as deeply as she expressed it and then it occurred to me that Bailey will always see this group as her babies because she trained them from the beginning. She will take pride in their accomplishments, share their pains and be pissed when they screw themselves up. "You're maddening." She sure is Bailey, she sure is and the thing is, Meredith is not changing for anyone anytime soon. I LOVED this storyline.
Cristina, the real Chief and Heart in the Box: This was my second favorite storyline. Richard will ALWAYS be the chief...always. He supports and mentors the doctors of Seattle Grace in ways that Derek and Owen just cannot. I love that it's still a part of his demea

I liked the episode well enough. The (former) Chief continues to steal all the scenes he is ever in! Between him, Markson's bromance, and Lexie's reaction to the end of the book I was in stitches. I love the Chief and I'm glad he's getting to be used more, and offering some comic relief.
I still maintain that at this point in her life Lexie doesn't deserve either. I actually like Lexie better than Meredith but she's not so great with some of her decisions either, and both boys can do better, they deserve better, until she can figure herself out. I love Avery, seem to be in the minority with that, and I loved how he handled the situation, how mature he was with his scene with her. Kudos to him, he made me proud in that scene. I still don't see how no one sees the depth in his character, honestly he and Sloan are made for each other in that sense, often misunderstood and no one takes the time to see beyond the surface. Loved their scenes together. I'm behind the Plastics Posse, for su

If Altman's hubby is coughing up blood that's not good. Doesn't that mean he's bleeding internally?
I've no sadness at Avery's walking away from lexie. Very sensible of Avery call time on a relationship with a woman who is not really invested in him.
Alex was having a difficult day with his possible fellowship being under threat and then his nemesis George coming back to haunt him.

I really have LOVED the addition of Scott Foley's Henry to the show and his pairing with Teddy! I really hope he does NOT die. If he does I'll go back to watching Bones on FOX live and my Grey's days will be over once again! Henry gives Teddy the heart (no pun intended) that she's so desperatley lacked prior to him coming into her life. Thanks to Henry I actually have been enjoying the character of Teddy the past two seasons! :)
