It looks like Ben and Leslie's newly-rekindled romance won't affect the latter's political dreams after all.

TV Line reports that Kathryn Hahn - most recently seen (below) on NBC's very short-lived Free Agents - will appear on multiple episodes of Parks and Recreation in early 2012 as an operative working against Leslie and her campaign for City Council.

Hahn's character will debut in January and work for an opposing candidate. Played by whom?!? That much is uncertain. But we can only imagine the hilarious possibilities of this race...

UPDATE: Louis C. K will also return for an episode next year, reprising the role of Leslie's former love interest Dave.
