This is by far the best show on television. Reese is essentially Batman without the cape, mask or body armor. The last time I loved a television show this much was "Smallville". Simply the best.

Great show period! It is always 5 stars for me! The show LIFE was like that to me also. Can't wait for the next episode!

@cynthia - I'm glad you enjoy reading my reviews and are enjoying the show. I'm curious and excited to see where the show heads when it returns in 2012.
@Diamondlife - Laughed when you said you broke your remote trying to hear Reese. I do understand the reason for his quiet tone and it definitely reflects aspects of his character, but sometimes you just wish he would speak up a little too.
Great to see so many people are enjoying this show as well. Hope it sticks around for a good while and keeps bringing some entertaining, butt kicking hours.

This episode was spectacular! Probably the best episode of the series thus far! It was a true game changing episode, pivotal in the way it shook up the entire dynamic of all the characters involved. No way in knowing where it's going to go from here but I cannot wait to find out. I also loved that it showcased each and every character well. I can say with certainty now that ALL of the characters have finally reached their stride. No one falling short anymore. Reese and Finch's dynamic is stronger and closer than ever before...they truly are reliant on one another and trust each other at this point. Fusco has finally come off as more than a one dimensional character. He's reluctant but loyal and when he says that he's helping Reese and Finch, I believe him. When he says he has Carter's back and that she can count on him...I actually believe him now.
They shook up everything that we've grown accustom to and yet opened the door for soo many possibilities. I forsee Carter and Reese hav

Keeping the same characters. Not overloading with others. Take now other shows. This leaves you wondering where it will go next.

This episode could've stayed with Bridget Reagan ( Wendy ) cutting hair and it would be the best episode. Instead they change the game entirely moving forward. Carter discovering Reese and Finch. Was exactly what this show needed a progression for all the characters. Noah might have build the ARC, but the writers move it. Great entertainment and hands down the best episode thus far.

Great episode that kept you on your toes from beginning to end. The dynamics between Reese & Finch get deeper and more complicated every week. Fusco & Carter are certainly coming into their own. They will make a Fearsome Foursome!
Laughed out loud when the Congressman's aide called Det Fusco, Det Fiasco! LOL! So many sly, quick, one-liners throughout the show. Most delivered dead on by Reese....but they all have their comedic moments to shine.
Remember at the beginning of the eppy, Fusco asked Carter what she would do now if she caught him, since he saved her life. She didn't pause & said she'd arrest him. Add on the heavy info the CIA guys told her.....you almost knew what she'd have to do.
What's cool about this show is that all four character are having to learn to change their mindset, their view of the world....Reese & Finch are both having to learn to trust and to connect again with LIFE itself. Carter is going to have to quit seeing the world

Have to replace my remote control because I broke the Volume Button and the 30-second Replay Button from trying to hear Reese on this show! LOL It gets rediculous at times.
More Bridget Regan, PLEASE!
Bring those blue eyes back to stare at Reese and the camera.
You know he was distracted, just enough to make him actually smile.
He's got to go back for his haircut, doesn't he?
Fantastic show and really excellent episode for what it accomplished in the show's evolution and dynamics. Storyline...not so much. But, the amount of detail that was squeezed into this ep that will propel the show from here was fantastic and superbly written.
Oh, and to reiterate a comment from previous episode:
Yes, it is frustrating to watch and know that with all his skills Finch would have the the ability to make a camera doll that actually faces the right/inconspicuous way!!! C'mon!

HA... great Sean. Love reading your reviews, you are right "quippy" yourself. I am also glad to see more on Det. Carter. Thought last week's episode, while slow on the flashbacks, contained great info to build on this character. While our "hero" is super kick-*!$.. I also wish for less whispering. I know he can smile, every now-n-agin', so how bout it? He certainly displayed some interesting grins while saving the beautiful fixer a few shows back. So, is Det. Carter going to end up helping them, or going back to trying to put them in jail? Interesting angle. Interesting show, they do keep mixing it up. I'd personally like to see another dark, city show like the pilot episode... it did have great city shots after dark w/ good musical background. This show is growing on me every episode... while sometimes predictable... like I really did think that he'd probably get shot my his former mates and be rescued by Finch and that carter would somehow let them get away this time, sti

Good link to previous episode. Hopefully Carter is starting to learn that misplaced trust on her part gets people killed. Re CIA, those guys spun Reese's history to suit their purposes; we already saw in the episode in which his female 'handler' was introduced, her dubious morality and likely role in hardening him to become who he became. Would not be surprised, IF he actually did kill her and IF the CIA guys were not lying, if it was because she took out his former girlfriend (she did warn him about contact) or because she crossed over some other moral line. He has gone to great lengths not to kill gratuitously, has let a few live that for the public good might better have been taken out. Really great show.

Love, Love this show - Hope it never ends. The characters of Reese and Finch are mesmerizing.
@Karen - I can't believe that you thought any of the episodes were boring.
And Sean McKenna - The sisters not only wanted the money to save the house but to also pay for their mother's hospital bills.

This has become my must-see show each week. The intensity and unpredictability of the story is compelling, the acting is dynamic and the touches of dark humor and honestly won emotion are so rewarding. I feel as though I am watching a classic in the making as each week unfolds. Reese, Finch, Carter, and Fusco are all, in their different ways, walking a shaky line which cannot easily divide right from wrong. The grayness of the morality of this show is terrific. Can't wait for more episodes next year.

OMG. My mouth literally dropped open when Reese was shot. I wasn't expecting that outcome. I was used to Reese getting awsy unscathed. I love the show. Don't usually watch network TV, but CBS has a real winner with Person of Interest.

Mike in Yonkers, I second your opinion. I absolutely love this show! The facial expressions on Finch and Carter in the last 5 minutes of the show said more than any lines of dialog could. The chemistry between all the main characters is great. Can't wait for the second part of the season to start!
