DAIR???? Oh hell no!!!!! The prince hires or whatever Dan to write his vows, seriously, he want so marry Blair, but doesn't want to bother by writing the vows?! Prince charming - pompous idiot.
And Dan falling in love with Blair, just yuck, lonely boy needs to hook up with Serena or Georgina od Vanessa, don't care who she is, because B is sooooo out of his league.

@Kevin Personally I want the "old" Blair back- I'd like to see the intelligent, driven, hilarious, bitchy-but-loyal girl I loved for years. For the majority of S5 she's been portrayed as a flighty & indecisive girl who is obsessed w/men above all else. Blair not only doesn't care about college but is just flat-out stupid & illogical (as is the entire show). Between Blair's obsession w/"the fairytale" wedding, her disrespect for Serena's job in an early ep. & crapping on Dan on the reg., she has never been more spoiled & immature. S5 Blair is like S1 Blair but devoid of any charm, humor,etc. But I think ALL of the characters have been destroyed & are now flat, 2 dimensional versions of their "old" selves. For me it's more apparent w/Blair this season b/c she's the last to experience character assassination out of the bunch.

I was just wondering why so many people want Dair to happen.
I mean Chair, of course this should happen, Blair and Chuck have so much history and their characters match, they have chemistry and everything. But Dair? Blair and Dan? I cannot feel it! I don't even know how it happened that those two got 'together' in the first place. So why people, what is it that makes you want Dair so much?
I think this season started off very good, but know I don't like it so much anymore. I will not stop watching it, it's still good, but it is getting worse. Some things just do not make sense. Maybe I am wrong, but I thought all the hints for gossip girl were sent to Serena and not to gossip girl anymore. So how come Nate's assistant could sent something and gossip girl could publish it?
To end this: Dan, please get a haircut and your book ideas were...i guess interesting describes it?

Nate's assistant was pretty much the only good part of the show. Also the Dancing Cowboy-hat Guy.

The writers are giving Nate and Serena characters more substance but stop the Serena-Dan love angle already. It became pale and dry in comparison to Nate and Serena tandem in season 3. as always, the writers ' favorite, Blair has the meaty role. When are you going to give Blake Lively the break that she deserves? After all, she is the major come-on of the series.

Dont get me wrong, the Chuck and Blair story was great, funny and a bit cute but now? It seems as Chuck is more in love with the idea of being in love with Blair. He is kinda obsessed on a bad scale.
I am pro Dan and Blair since its the only "true" romantic twist in the show, everything else has been kinda shallow and more "action" love then true love.
I would really like to see a happy ending for Blair since the character really deserve a "fairy tale" happy ending with true love. Blair has truly been the true star in this show in which all others circle arround as planets, some bigger then others but still just planets :)
I fear the worst but I consider myself to be an average optimist so I still hope that there will be a true romantic love story in the show that has captivated us all for so many episodes.

chuck reminds me of the goat and blair is the washcloth in the episode "the goat" on how i met your mother because each time ted took the washcloth away from the goat, somehow the goat always seen to get it back. No matter what happens chuck is so obsessed with blair that he WILL do anything to get her back (maybe even killing someone).

i keep on reading people bashing on dan by calling him a creep. i found that so funny, I feel sorry for those people who actually believe that but yet they dating or married a guy who is like dan because dan is the most normal person in the whole show and i bet you that they won't date a guy like chuck.

I think its an HP Touchpad, i know their killed off now but it looked exactly like one and HP does advertise on their show so.... yeah. Nate was nate this episode, his personal storyline has been bad as of late (A certain cougar comes to mind) so i understand why we're only seeing his professional side. Serena has been a filler lately, i wanna see more of her loving of dan. Dan stop being such a girl, man up! His character is beginning to irk me. Chuck wasn't seen much of and he's reverting to his old self and for some reason this should have been more of a big deal. Blair was awkward at the bar it was just weird to see her like that, i loved her and beatrice's interactions, and i like the fact she is now genuine. The priest is the priest i dont care for him much. I really want something to come up with the chuck/diana situation she got called and what the hell happend!! Is he related to her or what! The nate/trip situation i totally knew it i called it out perfectly

..If they do not put Chuck and Blair together soon like it SHOULD be..I can honestly say I'll just be youtubing clips of them and not watching this show anymore...because honestly there would be no point. And his whole stupid quote about "We would just have to break them up in 5 minutes after they got together" (paraphrasing but still...) is RIDICULOUS ...You've given them 4 years of on again off again drama when almost 98% of people know and believe that they BELONG together!

..Not to say that they aren't great separately, because they are..but when you put the two of them together in a scene they just elevate each other to do their very best work and it turns out not to be cheesy but magical. It's almost magnetic, because you can't keep your eyes off of them even in the smallest of scenes. Chuck and Blair and Ed and Leighton are the very REASON I watch this show. Sadly if I have to continue to listen to this bs of "Dan writing Louis' vows"...and "looking into her soul." Oh please! Dan spent about 2 months time total with Blair. Chuck has been in love with her and known her better than anyone for yearsssss..

I completely one-hundred percent agree with Judith above. Joshua Safran RUINED my favorite show and my FAVORITE couple! Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage need to come back and write this show ASAP if they have any hope of keeping it on the air. I mean you would think that when almost every positive article that's ever written about GG includes talk of the talent of both Ed and Leighton and their spectacular chemistry together as Chuck and Blair why would you actually NOT have them in scenes together?..

Well, they have been teasing us for 5 years, so I hope we get our endgame! Otherwise it is just a waste of everyone's time, including the writers.
As for what you said, I disagree. I think they are going to give Dair something. I hate Dair, so I don't feel good about saying that. They teased with Dair for the whole season, so there has to be some kind of resolution.
