It's a good question, and it's one that will be answered on January 23, when House finally returns after a two-month hiatus.

The winter premiere will be titled "Better Half" - ironic, some viewers might say, considering the disappointing opening set of season seven episodes - and feature a patient who, as the quote above details, ought to be deceased. It will also give us a deeper look into Foreman's new relationship, along with a turtle race.
