If it is Marty Deeks I will never watch the show again. He is the reason I started to watch it I watched when it first came on and it was good and all but it just didnt grab me then one night I just happened across it again and the character Marty Deeks I just found him so likeable and funny I just wanted to watch as many episodes as possible. So please not him.

I hate to say it, because I love her character, but I think linda hunt maybe leaving at the end of the season. Ferrer/Granger has been shown up way too much. I also saw something a couple episodes ago which lead me to believe this. Granger believe he knew what he was talking about and G and Calen both showed him, he was wrong. Showing granger to start to trust their instincts.

I've loved NCIS LA since the very first episode. Since the introduction of Deeks, the series has got even better. The dynamic between the various partnerships is key to what makes this show great and what gives it an identity distinct from that of the original NCIS. To remove one of the main constituents of these partnerships would greatly disrupt the perfect balance the show has. I hope beyond hope that neither Sam , Callen, Kensi , Deeks, Nell , Eric or Hetty are killed off as this would seriously damage the identity of the show. My vote would be for Hunter , Renko, Rose or even Arkady
Love the show, please don't do anything that could undermine what makes it such a great watch.

Well, it was just basically confirmed by Shane Brennan that Nate will be back for more after this season. I seem to recall in an interview early this season that he said he had "long term plans" for Lauren Hunter. I'm starting to think it could be her. While we know Mike Renko, I'm not sure if we know him really well. I wish they'd bring him back. With all his LAPD contacts, I've always wondered if he knows Deeks. Maybe he could talk some sense into him and get him to sign those papers!

I've been watching NCIS:Los Angeles since it came on. I love the show. On the issue of someome dying, it shouldn't be Kensi, Deeks, G, Sam, or Hetty. Take any of them off and it ruins the show, especially for those, like me, who want to see Kensi and Deeks together. I like Nate. Maybe Lauren. An even better person is Granger. He's not well-liked.

Honestly I think it will be Deeks. Hes not a reall NCIS agent, hes still with LAPD. But maybe not. Honestly, I don't care as long as its not, Sam, Callen, or Kensi. Then I'll have issues. I'm really hopeing they'll bring back Nate. He was my favorite and the whole reason I really watched the show. But it seems like NCIS: LA is turning into CSI:Miami or even Criminal Minds where it kills of all the good characters.Way to ruin a great show. Just saying!

Nooooo!!! I like them all! I sure hope it's not somebody in the very main 4 characters plus Heddi plus Eric or Nell! Besides them...maybe I wouldn't be as upset! Maybe Nate? We never see him that much but he is a regular!Or Leon; and then again... maybe Granger!!

I sure hope is not Kensi, but actually I like all of them. They have such a good team, I don't want any to go. Don't do to this show what you did to CIS, most of the originals are gone and the new people I don't like, even Elizabeth Shue. Now, I don't watch the show anymore.

Been rewatching season 1 on dvd and while watching, I realized there is someone no one has yet to bring up. If, and I do mean if we are to believe what we have been told b/c of things other posters have said (this doesnt mean you have lied. But you could just be repeating what TPTB want us to believe) Mike Renko could be said character that dies. It wouldn't be shocking nor that upsetting but they could have it as him and another main cast member about to be killed and bam gun shot goes off.
And that made me think of something reallllly horrible. Does anyone know if we learn who said character that dies in the episode? Can we say cliff hanger? I love and hate those.

No puedo creer que uno de los personajes qu muera, sea uno de los protagonistas !!!! porque las parejas estan tan bien cada una!!!!!!!!! ( pero ojo que puede ser, que muera y despues en la cuarta temporada vuelva ) siempre pasa estoooooooooooo y esta bueno porque deja al espectador en filo!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it won't be a main, main character. If that makes sense. I really hope its Hunter because I really don't like her! Haha (:
In the original NCIS, it was said that in the envelope handed to DiNozzo at the end of Season 8 was a familiar face and someone we know and we all thought it was a main character eg. Ziva, McGee, Abby etc. but it was a guy that was part of EJ's team... Maybe something similiar could happen again! I love all the main characters and would be devestated if one of them were killed! (:

I'd hate to see Deeks die because there is still so much more they can do with him and Kensi! I love them! I think that although Deeks has been there and settled in there is still so much that they can do with this character! Also, Kensi has already lost one partner so surely not another?!
Hetty? Well I love her and I hate to say it but they could kill her off. This could make room for Hunter to come back and take over again? Or the new guy Granger, is it? He could come in as a more central character which would leave the team with a relationship similar to Gibbs and Vance sometimes in NCIS.

I've been freaking out ever since I found out someone will die but it made me think:
Callen? Isn't he vital to make the show go on?! Surely they would be doing more damage than good to the whole show if they got rid of him?
So what about Sam? I hope it isn't him because his and Callen's partnership works so well. Callen has trust issues but there are lots of moving moments between these two. It would be stupid to take that from this team surely?
Then there's Kensi. Killing off her makes the show follow what they did with NCIS and if they killed Kensi but kept Deeks on I don't think he would cope the same without her. The way their partnership works is fantastic!

One final thing I don't believe anyone brought up nor did I when I first commented on this on a prev. page (I'll admit I'm a bit too lazy to double check so forgive me if it was said already). Just b/c said character, male or female, main core cast or someone we know (ie Nate or Hunter) dies does NoT mean they stay DeAd. And before anyone rolls their eyes & mumbles this isn’t a syfy show or Alias, it has been done on other crime drama show(s). Any CSI Miami fans will likely recall and know what I am speaking about. Said character on there did in fact die (Really. Flatlined & was dead for several minutes). They did it on Criminal Minds too. In fact I have started thinking about a similarity that would work for this show. Not that I want any core cast to die but what if they did in order to go into a deep, deep cover. So fans mourn & freak out if Sam, Callen or Deeks dies (well some may freak & others may cheer) and let say around Christmas time... guess who isn

I am curious that it can’t be Nate, KLE. Just b/c his return that we know of is separate (listed, etc.) doesn't mean we aren’t being told he will return in said episode in which someone dies.
And nothing against Eric, but why not him? They easily replaced Nate with Nell. It would be something you don't see coming. He doesn't go out in the field. You wouldn’t expect his life to be in danger compared to the rest of the team. It be a shocker like Dom. This is going to sound a bit mean or crazy but I am now thinking of creative ways of killing him off. *insert evil grin*
And not to sound like the insider from Ausiello is lying that the character who dies is male but how do we know for sure that is true. It be perfect that some higher up from NCIS La leaking that. It get further leaked or said by someone reputable than random fan claiming they heard it. Fans then debate like crazy over which 'male' character it will be and BaM it’s a female one.

it better not be daniela! she is soooo nice in real life! i recently worked on NCIS: Los Angeles as an extra and she was so nice to me. kept coming up and saying how pretty my sister and i were and was so welcoming! it may have been because my dad is the stunt man on the show but she was still so sweet, kensi is man fav, and thats that. I'm hoping this is all a rumor. I'm going to ask my dad right now.

They are not having Nate return for an episode to kill him off.
They mean somebody who is on the show. Deeks can certainly be killed off. NCIS LA became a hit show before Deeks set his foot on, and can go on without him!

i really hope they dont kill off kensi right after giveing her a double arch and finally telling us a little of her back story...because her and callen have the most potential for backstories with their messed up pasts.
and if kensi being killed off is way to normal NCIS.... i mean kate and dinozzo banter and kensi and deeks (not totally the same...but its the similar idea) and then doing the same thing and killing her off would suck. and besides deeks would be crap without there little banter.
as much as i hate to say it...id sat nate/ nell/ hunter would be ideal. all the others make the show what it is...killing off one of the main cast would destroy what makes this show good!

@Sara, an insider on Ausiello said it was a male character. Nell is female. :)
