Blair should be happy

@Raven @Zoran I agree with Raven that Chuck and Blair may not be over but Dan and Serena perhaps are. The only way Serena can redeem herself in Dan's eyes is by really supporting his relationship with Blair, and then if writers ruin Dan and Blair(please don't), Dan may go back to Serena again. But I don't see that happening, because lets face it, now she is the biggest supporter of Chaie after Chuck.

@Raven
As for Chuck and Blair agree with you. However, relationship between Serena and Dan I think you are wrong, because if you are right, on the Serenas declaration of love to Dan, he should have told her that he does not love and want to be just friends. But Dan did not say anything to Serena, because writers are not even written. Another thing, most viewers believe that the action of the series revolves around only one pair, this is not true. All couples who are active in the series are equal and their story is represented in equal shares. We viewers are the ones who cheer for a certain couple.

@Zoran
I agree that the story between Chuck and Blair isn't over because the writers are too gutless to do it. Instead of ending it cleanly so viewers could buy into new relationships for each of them they dragged it out until it got truly painful to watch. However I disagree about Serena and Dan. I think their story has been over for awhile in terms of a romantic relationship. I don't agree that Dan has some sort of responsibility to deal with Serena's renewed feelings. I think Dan has moved past the first love of high school and now sees Serena as exactly what she is - this beautiful, good natured girl who he once loved but is now part of his extended family and that's the way he'll care about her now.

@Raven
But the end of the series has not, however, and another 7 episodes this season, then another season. So far in the series no one couple had a happy ending. It is true that Blair is not only Queen B, but its present melancholy and unconvincing attitude toward Chuck and Dan is catastrophic. She simply does not know what she wants, now she wants Chuck, now wants to Louis, next Dan she want. Serena knows very well Blair, but Blair das not knows Serena, in the 4th season when Serena was hospitalized Blair immediately concluded that Serena is using drugs again, only Dan defended Serena. And Blair, Serena, Chuck, Dan and Nate are unsure, they do not have courage to move on, so the story between Serena and Dan, and between Chuck and Blair has not yet been completed.

@Raven Exactly. Chair was great while it lasted. But it had a chink in its armor. Its fun when they are chasing each other, and their sex after each reunion is great. But after that it just falls apart. They might seem alike on the surface, but deep inside, they both couldn't be any more different. Blair is much more than the Queen B persona, a person with real insecurities, which Chuck and Serena don't realize even after so many years of knowing her. And that's why Chair don't settle in a relationship. The chase is thrilling, but when they reach their destination, its beauty is lost on them.

I'm with you. I haven't been interested in a Serena and Dan reunion since they split up the first time. They just bore me and I'm so glad it went nowhere in S4. I loved Chuck and Blair from the start and as long as they were interesting I wasn't too bothered about other people's relationships although I did quite like Serena and Nate. Chair stopped being interesting though and for me Chuck killed it with declaring love for Raina whilst he was meant to be waiting for Blair. Dan and Blair have always had an interesting dynamic and I think their relationship is a natural progression and hopefully will be endgame. The characters need to evolve - no one is the same as in high school and it's rare to have relationships from that time to last to adulthood. Dair for me!

Of course the characters in the series can not be left not changed, they change and grow, but the writers have not yet disconnect between Serena and Dan, and Chuck and Blair. On the declaration of love Serena to Dan writers did not write that Dans answer will be for example: Serena I do not love you, let's just be friends. Previous experience of viewers of this series suggests that it is unlikely that the end of this season one pair has a happy ending.

@zoran English efficiency is irrelevant. All fans, irrespective of their nationality and language are welcome to express their opinions. If it weren't for the international fans, this show might have ended already.
It is a television show, but that does not mean that the characters should remain the same forever. Character growth is a necessity of every fictional reality.

Sorry my English is bad.
It is true that people grow and change, but this is not life this is a television series. I am not writing this screenplay series, the writers have set up such a plot. I'm just trying to express my opinion and to substantiate arguments. You will agree to disagree.

@erica This is the problem with you chuck fans. Like the character you adore, you are blind to reasoning and can't hold an argument to save your lives. The logical extension of your illogical statement is that Chuck is a man whore and a pimp to boot. But you won't hear me say that.XOXO

Again, I disagree with you, the story can not now begin, it is not a new series. The plot of the series has long set before, and can not change the story at the end of the series. Both were taken for granted both pairs, there is no innocent. As I have said in 100. episode Serena declare to Den of her eternal love. If you are remind at beginning to the first episode in 1. season, when Serena returns to NYC in the railway station Dan see her and then the voice of GG: A lonely boy can not believe that the love of his life is back in NYC ... Of course Dan and Blair are not obligated to be with her teenage love, but this is the plot of the series through all seasons.
Blair should be happy
March 4th, 2012 12:02 PM
@zoran Chuck and Serena certainly don't treat the love of their lives as they should. They have always taken Blair and Dan for granted. And teenage romances hardly qualify as love of live. Dan and Blair are not obliged to be in love with their teenage flings. Its time to move on. Every thing till now was a prologue, the story begins now.
Zoran

I do not agree with you, Serena has made a huge mistake with Ben in the 4th season, but her declaration of eternal love to Den in 100 episode corrects that error. Dens relationship with Serena is very strange since the 4th season, especially after the publication of Dens book . For Serena Dan is love of her life and vice versa, and for Chuck Blair is love of his life and vice versa. And because of that Serena can not remain friends with Blair as much as the Blair tried, and with Dan to.
Blair should be happy
March 4th, 2012 11:30 AM
@Zoran I think that Serena and Blair will be just fine. If Serena has an honest conversation with herself, she will realize that she had lost Dan with the Ben fiasco. There is a guy who was the only person among her friends and family(which by the way is extremely overlapping) to believe her innocence in the drug case and stood up against his family for her. And after all that, when she recovers, she breaks his heart over someone like Ben and rubs it in his face. And later even after knowing that he is in love with her best friend, she goes and tells him that she is in love with her. Serena is the one who in the fault here, not Dan or Blair.

@ Where's Waldorf
I agree with you, and I hope you're right, but I'm afraid that this time Serena will not forgive Dan.

Blair should be happy, but her happiness can not break up a friendship with Serena and Chuck, as well as the relationship between Dan and Blair can not break up friendship Dan with Serena and Chuck.

First, I think that such a large number of supporters of Blair and Dan are former supporters of Serena and Dan. Secondly, this 5th season has its own distinct and fundamentally dismantled in a series of events. The views of other spectators that Blair is now the happiest are not accurate, we should all recall last 4. seasons when she tied his luck for Chuck, telling Serena - Blair: Chuck just makes me happy ... I think the writers are playing with the audience because such fractures in a series only raised its ratings. So far there are over 1000 comments on the last episode.
Where are you guys/girls? I like cursing as much as any one, but this is ridiculous.
Blair should be happy
March 4th, 2012 8:14 AM
@Clair Carmichael You have nailed it girl. Blair is happy, perhaps the most happy and content she has ever been. So, why should she let go of this happiness? And don't give be the 'they are meant to be together' or 'they belong with each other' crap. As someone commented earlier, this belong and 'meant to' crap has caused enough damage to the show. If Dan can Blair can be happy together, then good for them, they should be together. If not, then I hope that they move on in their lives and don't go back to their teenage loves because of some misguided sense of belonging.

@over-thinking
You aren't over thinking things. There is a chance you're right. The same thing happened to Serenate. They seemed legitimate but burnt out by the season's end because Serena once again struck up something with Dan. She and Dan always build sound relationships with other people only to return to each other eventually.

I'm not a shipper, I've always been happy to go along with the pairings the writers see fit.
What I AM however is a massive fan of BLAIR. And I can't remember the last time we saw Blair as happy as she was in that most recent kiss with Dan, or as comfortable with someone as she has been with him in the last few episodes.
SO Chair fans can bitch and moan about the turn of events, and DAIR fans can plot out how this is endgame, or always have meant to have been or whatever. ME? I just want to see Blair smile like that some more, before the writers decide what next calamity to throw at her.
