The book. I've a lot of question about it. First, when did he start it ?
Dan said 5 years "on and off" but in the book Blair is the good one. It is strange because it means it has to be re-written or Dan always had some kind of perspective of Blair. Maybe the book started with Serena but the rest comes from Blair. The first drafts have to be very different from the publish book. There are other problem (we can see this is a tv show). How can Dan knows almost exactly words for words what Blair and Serena said to each other. Us as viewers we know because we follow the character but Dan ? It's like the paper from last year St-Valentin. Who Dan wrote about ?

@zoran I totally understand the reason of your stupidity. Clearly English is not your forte, so you are unable to grasp the nuances of the show. And please don't say that English is not your first language, I can tell. That does not give you the right to murder it. It's not my first language too, but unlike you, I possess some intelligence.

True, but Dan has not yet graduated from college, and you forgot to Vanessa that better suited the role of Lane, and Serena is definitely Lois. In addition, Serena is the Dans the love of his life and gives him the inspiration to write a books.

@zoran Superman loves Lana in high school than later Lois Lane. So Serena is Lana, not Lois. Plus, Lois-Clark relationship was more like Dan-Blair

You're right for the scene in the bathroom in the second season. Dan loves to play the Superman rescuing a girl in trouble, but we all know that Superman had just a one girl, in this case it is Serena.

@zoran You really have a thing for Serena ;) In season 2, there is a scene between Dan and Blair in the bathroom. Blair said "I knew you and Serena had problem, I didn't know they were anatomical" While saying that she's totally checking him out. Plus Blair is very seductive the way she put her stocking back. It's curious how the teacher and Blair look alike in that episode.

These comments are great, so just continue. What do you think if Blair seek the advice of Serena and Serena told her this - With me Dan has not had any problems, it worked perfectly.
Happy to see Dair doing so well in a fair poll. Not that it matters too much, but its great to see that some naysayers are liking this couple. I think that most of Blair's fans have realized that she can find the pure simple love with Dan. Just look at how happy and content she was at the end of the last show. I just hope that the writers also feel the same.

@zoran I do it with pleasure ! I'm surprised I can do jokes in english. Who's on top ? Maybe Blair ties up Dan to the bed. Tie is their thing or she slaps Dan with a tie "good boy". "Say my name, again". I've to stop. It's going crazy my head. How much scenarios with these two in bed. How about role play ?

Again, I agree with you. The ratio of both pairs is equally important that they survive. Without Serena and Dan does not have Blair and Chuck. Complement each other. Regarding your last sentence I think I did not, but you have to clearly to me, my native language is not English.

I'm Chair and Derena, but a little more inclined to Chair.
I think we need both of them properly together at the same time at least once. Derena is the lightness needed with Chair's intensity.

out of every person that comments here, you have to be the closest person to being on the same page as me. the reason i haven't given up is because the writers have written the show in a way that suggests Chair and Derena are going to find their way back in the end.
You know what would be really horrible/good? If Dan left Blair for Serena like he does with every girl he claims to have feelings for. I mean as long as it leads her back to Chuck I'm okay with it, but it really would rip the rug out from underneath Blair if she thought Dan was the trustworthy one.

I hope you're right, and this is one of the main reasons why i still watch the series. That Serena and Dan, and Chuck and Blair are the main couples throughout the series and you should assume that if they had not completed their existence, then the next season might resurrect it again.

Happy to see Dair doing so well in a fair poll. Not that it matters too much, but its great to see that some naysayers are liking this couple. I think that most of Blair's fans have realized that she can find the pure simple love with Dan. Just look at how happy and content she was at the end of the last show.
