TEAM WADE ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!

(2nd post) I still see no chemistry or connection between Z/G (UNLIKE what I see with Z/W, when they're actually allowed to interact). Further, I found it telling that while all the "pillars of society" were acting silly over a meaningless title, Wade was actually quietly BEING a better man. Brick insults a man to his face because he's upset about losing and his teenage daughter doesn't listen to him. George blames Lemon for the fight with his dad when she was just trying to support him and tells her she's silly for worrying even as he flirts with another woman. Lavon can't complete the simplest of mayoral tasks because he's too busy pining for another man's fiancee. Wade offers meaningful advice to a young girl, and puts aside his own feelings to support his friend and to help that friend's father (which also helps the woman he loves take steps towards reconciliation with her own father which she so clearly wants). I know who has my vote for next year's MOTY.

(First post) I disagree with this review - this just seemed to be another in a long line of episodes where barely anything happened to draw the plot forward. I have no doubt, based on past experience, that any "cliffhangery" events will simply be reset when the show finally comes back. It's like we're just hanging around in some kind of holding pattern until the season finale.

I liked lots of things about the episode including Zoe's speech,I thought it was cute.I liked the interaction between Zoe and Levan, and the reiteration that they are each other's best friends.I liked Zoe and Wade's interaction,Wade being concerned about Zoe.I didn't like Brick's treatment of Wade but then Wade needed to see that to realize how people see him,to learn if he wants people's respect he has to earn it.Brick knows his town of Bluebell,he probably knows about Wade's reputation, and he knows how people of Bluebell could read too much into Magnolia and Wade hanging out together,so I was not too disappointed in how mad Brick was and how dismissive of Wade he was.I was disappointed however that Wade did not sing his song at the party.I liked how Brick so fatherly cared for George and wanted the best for his father.I liked how Wade came back and asked Zoe to call her dad for George;that showed how deeply Wade cares for George, while still being very jealous of him.

Part II.
There was some talk about "the turn" where we see George and Zoe gravitate toward each other. I actually anticipated that to be in the later episodes, but I guess it happened last night. But still I can only see Zoe and George as good platonic friends so far, just like Zoe and Levan.

I agree this was a great episode. l liked it alot, especially the last 10-15 minutes. I LOVED the closing scene in the hospital room, George reaching for Zoe's hands while Wade and Lemon were looking at them. That was so cool because I kind of read into that scene that Wade and Lemon saw the handholding as a kind of romantic gesture but I think George was just so grateful and touched to have a great friend like Zoe that would do anything for him.
I like that they are showing how jaded Lemon has become. She has been so hurt by her mother that when she gets played by someone, or someone very close to her, she can't forget and forgive. She can't even stand to see the one close to her forget and forgive the person who played them. I like where this is going and I like to see Lemon gets lots of love to be able to see that not everyone is her mother, and not everyone is there to hurt her all the time.

Oh man! It was a great episode. Although I'm team Wade, I love George,he is a great guy, caring and thoughtful with anyone, and to top that he is hot too.Lemon doesn't deserve him at all,she is such a spoiled litle b**ch,and full of herself; and I would like to see Zoe and George in a relationship and Wade reaction's.

This is the final episode? Why? I love this show. I will be having withdrawals. They took away my daytime soaps. I love soaps. They keep you wondering what 's going to happen next. That 's why I liked this show because it made me want to see the next episode to see "what happens next" . I love shows like that.
Lemon: Oh, this is about George Tucker. Because he broke up with Tansy and you think Zeorge is inevitable. No, you don't? Why not? He's finally single. She's...
