Bones: Renewed For Season 8!
Just a few days away from its long-awaited return, Bones and its fans received extra good news today: the series has been renewed by Fox for an eighth season!
“Over the past seven seasons, Hart Hanson, Stephen Nathan and the incredible Bones cast and crew have redefined the traditional crime procedural with an irreverent and adventurous sensibility,” network president Kevin Reilly said in a statement. “I’m really happy to have this distinctive, fan-favorite on our schedule for another season.”
Look for extended arc for Hodgins and Cam on season eight, Nathan said yesterday on a conference call.
Until then, get ready for the April 2 return via the promo above and prepare for the season finale in our Bones spoilers section!

I was of the opinion that Bones was a great show until the 7th season which I found to be disjointed and without the inter play between the characters that I had loved so much in the 1st 6 seasons. I told myself that the problem was because of the split season due to bones pregnancy. I waited for season 8 to begin, after viewing the 1st episode last night I'm sorry to say that it was even worse than the season before.I guess I'll be watching monday night football on mondays. TOO BAD!!!!!!!

So glad Bones is renewed!! Love the humor and the serious..the baby addition hasn't taken away from the show..but allows more to written for it. Keep up the great work Bones!! LOVE Ya!!

Love Bones! I love the relationship between Booth and Bones, the unspoken love they share for each other. Doesn't hurt that Booth is just soooo sexy! On a serious note, I love all the members of the show, Thank you, Thank you!!
I just hope they don't get all mushy with the baby thing!

I'll be surprised if there is a season 9. They have jumped the shark with the whole baby thing. Sad really this used to be a good show.

The show hasn't been the same. There doesn't seem to be any direction to the writing. Standalone episodes are always hit and miss. You need the arcs to bring it all together.
