Craig Horner Cast as The CW's Joey Dakota

Craig Horner has landed a major role on an upcoming CW pilot.

The Australian actor (Legend of the Seekers) will portray the title character in Joey Dakota, according to Deadline, playing a rock star who dies in the unique drama. Allow us to explain:

Based on the Israeli series Danny Hollywood, the series will follow Maya (Amber Stevens), a filmmaker who travels back in time, falls in love with Dakota, gets sent back to the present and must figure out a way to travel back again and save her man.

Joey Dakota is one of a number of promising CW pilots for this fall, as the network aims to generate some serious buzz.
