Ringer Review: Dazed & Confused

by at . Comments

Sometimes I love the twists and turns on Ringer and sometimes they just make me dizzy. Last night's episode, "You're Way Too Pretty To Go To Jail," had my head spinning.

Lots of questions were answered in this episode but the pace was so quick it was hard to keep up. In the span of one episode Andrew went from a loving romantic to a crook and possible murderer.

Was he the one behind the attempt on Siobhan's life? What was he willing to do to protect his dirty little secret?

It certainly sounded like he was planning on making the same quick get away as Olivia when it all hits the fan. Could his love for Bridget have made him even more desperate to keep the ponzi scheme going a while longer.

Angry Andrew

There were so many questions about Andrew's character and motivations that I'm not sure what to think of him anymore. And I can't even fathom how he'll react when he finds out that his wife is actually her twin sister he never knew she had.

Bridget resembled a ping pong ball being bounced back and forth between the men in her life. From Andrew, to Malcolm, to Henry, she couldn't quite figure out who to believe or which side to fall on. The last bounce over to see Tyler turned her world upside down yet again.

When Siobhan said she had to take care of Malcolm I immediately wondered if he'd meet the same fate Charlie had. Luckily for Malcolm she simply pretended to be Bridget and told him off, hoping he'd back off entirely.

Speaking of Siobhan pretending to be Bridget, it doesn't look like she'll be able to do that any longer. After weeks of not showing at all she's suddenly looking very, very pregnant. I suppose that's what having twins will do to you.

Malcolm was determined to protect Bridget and he finally chose to do the right thing and testify that Makawi kidnapped him. Granted, if he'd done that months ago perhaps Bridget wouldn't still be in this mess.

Better late than never, I guess.

Of course Siobhan's boy toy Tyler couldn't be trusted to get anything right. First he went behind Siobhan's back to try and take down Martin Charles. He told Siobhan he'd get another job and support them. Yeah, I'm sure it's a piece of cake to get hired in the financial sector after you've been linked to a ponzi scheme. Tyler's a little naive.

The Olivia scared the heck out of him when she confronted him with information from her own contact at the SEC. Tyler didn't know which way to turn and couldn't get out of town fast enough. I knew he wouldn't survive to the end of the episode.

Agent Machado's back story finally explained why he seemed so personally involved in the case against Makawi. He fell in love with his stripper / informant and Badawi murdered and dismembered her. Only after the fact did Machado find out she was pregnant with his child.

Yeah, I don't think he'll be backing off this one any time soon.

So did Olivia actually murder Tyler and if so, was she also the one behind the attempt on Siobhan's life? Is Andrew in deep enough to commit murder and what are his plans for Malcolm?

I was exhausted trying to keep up with this latest episode of Ringer. How about you?

Andrew is not a killer. We are supposed to believe he could kill but he would not. We already know that Julia killed Tyler. All Andrew will do is tell Malcolm to leave town. I like Andrew and even though the ponzi scheme is BAD I think deep down he is a good guy.
I am betting that once Henry finds out some more stuff about Siobhan he will decide that he dose not want to be with her and I think that Henry and Andrew will eventually both want Bridget. That is just my wild thoughts!!!

I think that the killer is either Catherine, Olivia, r Juliet from Ringer. However, the person in the mask hiding is not the killer. The person hiding in the mask I think is somebody from another TV series. I think that it could either be Giles, Xander, Spike, Anya, Faith, Oz, Cordelia, etc. from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I think that they are wearing a mask to hide their identity. Yet it could even be either Bridget/Siobhan.

I think that the biggest surprise who could be the killer is either Catherine or Olivia from Ringer. However, what would really shock the sudience and be the biggest surprise would be the following: Anybody from the series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I mean when they remove the mask it could be anybody maybe even Faith, Xander, Giles, Reilly, Spike, Anya, Cordelia, etc. that would really be a huge surpise.

I love this show so much! It really makes me wanna watch each episode more and more! Andrew and Malcom, Olivia cold blooded and Bridget clueless!
When U think a house of cards started to fall apart they keep building up! It's so messy and I want it to resolve as quick as possible! Who isn't waiting for a Brigdet Siobhan Encounter! Love it!
And I miss Cat, being all drunk and messy and medling!

A simple Google search wouldn't hurt to see how to actually spell Bodaway Macawi.. Badawi? Seriously Badawi? Do TV Fanatic just randomly ask people on the street to review every show for them because each review as of late is getting more ridiculous..spell check and proof read please.

Okay, one question: Why was Andrew walking into the Soho Diamond when Bridget got his call plus voicemail but when he made the call he was in his office? that doesn't really make sense since normally you get calls/voicemails immediately and not half an hour later. And it's also not that she just saw it this moment, since her phone was ringing. This actually was the thing that left me most confused this episode. Perhaps later we'll find out that Andrew also had a twin brother all along, named William, who works as a hitman or something.

I feel like Henry is only just starting to realise what kind of person Siobhan is, She really wants Bridgett and her old life dead. The look on his face when she said "We can't have him [Malcolm] protecting Bridgett". I think if anyone kills Siobhan it will be Henry when he discovers the babies aren't his and that Siobhan was only passing off the children as his and Tylers to manipulate them into her scheming.

I agree with Jarrod. So many things was goingon in this episode that it was kinda hard to keep up. I cannot wait for Bridget to take down Siobhan because Siobhan really needs a takedown and I won't feel sorry for her or Henry and Tyler. I am glad that Malcolm will be gone for a while and Andrew is getting more scarier.

Wow. This episode was intense.
I don't think that it was Andrew that tried to kill Siobhan. I do, however, believe that it was Olivia. Why can I see the real Siobhan shooting her?
I'm really feeling bad for Bridget. I mean, I know she didn't do the right thing by taking over Siobhan's life, but she had good intentions. I hate that she (along with everyone else) are a pawn in Siobhan's game.
As much as Malcolm has improved as a character, I hate that he was stupid enough to believe Bridget was the one who called him. I know he believes Siobhan is dead, but he should know Bridget well enough to know that something is up for her to abuse him on the phone like that.
I have no thoughts on Siobhan. All I can do is blame her for everything that has gone on. I don't think she'll even feel guilt over Tyler's death at all.

Malcolm

I really thought Olivia was behind the ponzi scheme. She's a conniving bitch.
