Good emotional scenes from Kristen, Ted, Thayer, Emma and Laurel.
When Ethan came over to Sutton's bedroom, the contrasting body language of the twins was funny.

I, for one, think Rebecca is only using Sutton to get back at Alec for whatever he did to her in high school and to get Ted back. She got Sutton to have Ted n Kristin break up and she also framed Alec. The girl is smart, but the woman is smarter ;) I think she cares about both twins, but only got closer to Sutton because she knew Emma would never go through with her plan, Sutton would do anything her birth mother ask her to do, and that's what Rebecca was counting on. Now I want to know when they started plotting together, how Sutton discovered Rebecca was her mother and everything else. I SO hope TLG is getting renewed for a second season, it so deserves it. It has seriously got much much better compared to the first 10 episodes. Can't wait for more!

So, I think the great love story here is Thayer and Emma because the Emma/Ethan/Sutton thing is not only too much, it's also kind of gross. Dude is obsessed with twin sisters.
Sutton could not have known the entire time. . .unless she was trying to get rid of Annie too!!! By helping her mom, Rebecca!!! Ok, so I figured it out as I was typing. Don't forget that Rebecca's name is Annie also.
Their birth father has to be Ted. Right?? I am curious to know who killed Derek. It makes sense that Rebecca planted the murder weapon, but if the picture was doctored, then I don't think Alec would have backed off so easily. If he wasn't there, he as the DA would have the easiest time proving it to be fake.

OK, we always knew Sutton's devious, but the ending was a real zinger. I'm still shocked. Also, after the finale I feel like the producers were following a straight line throughout the season. When Rebecca's character came in, I thought that the show completely changed but now it all makes sense. Oh boy. Poor Emma, once again. I really don't want to see her with Ethan again, but if she gets together with Thayer then he's just the consolation. Emma is clearly not over Ethan and Thayer is head over heels for Emma. Oh boy.

First I am highly annoyed that Emma is "done" with Ethan. For a guy he is actually pretty honest and he has been fairly loyal (as much as one can be with a female throwing herself at you). Emma should give him another chance. I mean really, what else can he do? I agree that it's not a surprise that Rebecca is the mother, the surprise came in knowing that Sutton is again being devious behind everyone's back. (even though i'm not really sure why that is a surprise either lol) I will give props to Thayer because he is really trying to make use of this opportunity to get in with Emma. We'll see how things go!

I knew Rebecca was the mother and I had a feeling Sutton knew something. A few episodes back gave me a clue. Ted and Alec ruined her life by taking the babies away, so she set out to ruin theirs. I'm sure she put the crow bar in the golf bag and purposely ruined Ted's marriage.
I would like to see Emma and Ethan together just to show Sutton that good always wins over evil.
I hope there is a next season. It kept me entertained.

Oh, wow! That's all I can say...that was a great ending!! I agree with sophiawashere and think that Sutton met Rebecca through Annie, however I don't think that Rebecca dislikes Emma...I think it's more that Rebecca knows that Emma won't help her in bringing everybody down. Also, I'm all for Thayer and Emma. Ethan was a jerk with all the "What do you want me to say?" Very stupid! He and Sutton deserve each other.

Rebecca being the birth mother was predictable and i think ted is actually there biological father but i had no idea about sutton knowing about rebecca.
As Alec said to Ted about the kristen finding out situation, 'she doesnt even know the half of it."
Obviously something will happen between thayer and emma but emma will break it off because she has feeling for ethan still or something.
Laurel will probably find out about Emma/Sutton situation.
i dont really care what happens to madds.
As for the whole killing derek, i actually think alec didnt do it. Maybe it was Rebecca who sent him the photo and planted the murder weapon there too.
HURRY UP SEASON 2

Wow. My jaw honestly dropped when that happened!
But can we talk about Thayer and Emma? What's going on--or rather what's going to happen there?

I didn't realize how much of an evil bitch Sutton really was. Like mother like daughter. I think Sutton and Rebecca killed Derek.
Where is Sutton and Emma's birth father?? Maybe he is the only guy that can shut down Rebecca and Sutton's evil plot.
My prediction for season 2: Emma tells Laurel about her and Sutton. Laurel helps Ethan, Madds, and Thayer take down the 2 bitches from Hell. Ethan and Emma get back together, which will frustrate the hell out of Sutton. Alec finds out about the twins and helps everyone try to take down his now wife and Sutton. And the twins' birth father comes into the picture...if Rebecca hasn't killed him.

So were you guys satisfied with this finale? - Satisified is too meek a term. I was GOD Smacked! I've never, ever had a TV show leaving me this stunned, Movie "The Sixth Sense" was the last to take my breath away.
When do you think Sutton figured out Rebecca was their mother? - Before the first scene of Episode one. The entire season!
Are Emma and Ethan over for good? - Naw. What is a show without a GREAT love story. And WOW to we have one now.
We have a lot of time to figure this out, but I will keep my fingers crossed for season 2 and so should you! - YES YES YES, on bleeding knees, let there be a season two!

Remember how you felt when you first watched the final scene of the 1999 movie "The Sixth Sense"? Or remember the 1992 movie "The Crying Game" when Fergus learned that Dil was a guy?! Remember that shock? " Even the biggest reveal of all, "No, Luke. I am your father" from 1980 The Empire Strikes back!?! How the entire theater was just amazed at what was happening on the screen? That is how I feal now! OMG! This episode was HISTORIC on the highest level. Learning the Sutton AND Rebecca have been working together! And working together since before the first scene of Episode1. All twenty episodes, we viewers have been played THE Lying game on us!!! Perfection is EVRY way. Congratulations to the writers, all the actors, Austin Texas. I thought TLG was as good as prime time dramas Dallas, Dynasty, Knots Landing, but none of them EVER had this huge of a reveal, Crown The Lying Game as the new leader, best is class, just give them the Emmy now.

My take on Rebecca's end game: It was presented from the get-go that Alec was horrible to her in high school. She obviously wants some kind of revenge against him for that and probably for taking her twins away. So why marry Alec? Because now, Alec most likely would never suspect her of framing him/orchestrating it all. Rebecca totally played into Alec's ego -- remember the "I came back for you" line?
I do wonder if Rebecca is actually the one who murdered Derek. The frat guy may have seen Alec beat Derek with the tire iron, but Derek might not have been dead yet ... then Rebecca shows up. She has to be pissed at him for trying to kill Sutton/causing that crash.
I think Rebecca and Sutton met through Annie, after Rebecca went to see Annie in the hospital. Sutton seemed to legitimately be looking for her mon when she was in LA. Sutton could have easily made Rebecca dislike Emma by describing how great Emma thinks Ted and Kristen are.

Wow, Sutton is involved!!! I think Alek had Derek killed but didn't do it himself while Rebecca is framing Alek for personally killing Derek. Alek and Rebecca both wanted the spousal privilege. Rebecca did something else if she didn't arrange Derek's death. The case against Alek will be thrown out. Rebecca's ultimate goal can't currently be known.
S2 predictions: Emma will push Thayer away after they have a romantic moment.
Something sexual will happen between Ted and Rebecca.
Rebecca is/will get pregnant with Alek's baby/ies.
I hope Emma tells Laurel who she is but not let Sutton know.

Nah I don't think she wants revenger for having her children taken away - because that would include both Sutton and Emma. And as of now Emma is being used by both of them. So obviously she only favors Sutton.

The whole Alec murder scenario went far too smooth for a tv show, which I guess is explained by the fact that Rebecca and Sutton were pulling the strings somehow. Since almost the very beginning I've believed that either Ted or Alec was the father and the mysterious "Annie" was the birth mother. The real shocker is that Sutton knew! I've been thinking that the picture was created by Rebecca... and now that maybe she killed Derek? I just don't know how it all fits together. As i was writing this a new possibility came to mind- Rebecca is getting revenge for whatever happened all those years ago...perhaps having her children taken away? There's never been an explanation as to why Emma was adopted for that short amount of time. I'm just sad that Sutton now appears to be more devious then before, I really wanted Emma and Sutton to somehow come together and be sisters (as this is only season 1 it makes sense to leave all that drama in between them...but still.)
