best episode since S4. I like my chair flirty, which is exactly what this episode gave us. a little annoyed though-was dair just a tool to stall chair? (the ILY was super bland!) if so, the past 6 episodes were just filler. i wish every episode this season was more like 5x22. glad that they're finishing strong though...
i have a feeling that the big finish referenced in the promo is a very special engagement. super romantic!

Everything between Dan and Blair is forced, it is now clear. And Dan had to say it, because he sees that his illusion begin to fall apart. It is seen more in the last episode, and now has been confirmed. Dan move is a desperate move to save his illusion. Better for him that he ran and save Serena not to cross to the dark side, otherwise he will remain a lonely boy! Of course you know I'm a big fan of Serena and Dan!

loved nate/chuck/serena/blair back together, scheming. loved the Chair interaction. they can be friends and that's amazing to see. the bart reveal, jack and diane working together, rufus telling dan to trust blair...etc. almost everything made sense and was great.
what i didn't like---blair/serena should've talked about lola being her sister. why are all the emotional/touchy scenes between dorota/serena? is it too much to ask for one small scene b/w S and B? the Dan I LOVE YOU. i'm a dair fan...but the way that scene played out was all wrong. i know Dan feels it. but it felt forced from him.

You are right. I totally agree with you. Viewers did not see the death of Bart, as well as Chuck and I am sure neither Lily or Serena. So far in the series displayed two deaths Bart's and CC. The only real death is the one CC, her family said goodbye to her and she died. Bart is very easily make fakes his own death. But the question remains, why did it? I guess the answer will appear by the end of the season or maybe next season.
ABSOLUTELY loved an emerging Chair! Hands down best episode I've seen in a while. Dan has turned into such a pathetic, arrogant chump to me and will never be "inside." I was right. Dan is in love with an illusion, I guess it is now clear to everyone. One sufficient action of NJBC and begin to fall apart relationship between the friends without sex - Dan and Blair. Dan illusion begins to crumble, and I fear that he will remain a lonely boy, if not quickly ran and save Serena from crossing to the dark side. As soon as Blair fit in her feet she will realize that Dan is not what she needs.

So glad to see the gang all back together. I could do without Lola though. I don't really like her. So nice to see Blair and Chuck acting nice to each other, so much better than the incivility we've seen lately (at least from her). I sure hope things turn around for S soon, I'm not a fan of her being lost, there has been way too much of that for the last few seasons. Please don't tell me Bart asked his death to run a secret sex club. That would be awfully silly. I have to say I'm not such a fan of Bart being alive.

FINALLY!!! the best episode of this season... it was about time... and off course it is mostly because of chuck and blair, you have to be blind if you don't see the chemistry between them... it felt so right to see the gang again and the esence of gossip girl showing up again... i just hope that everything gets back to the way it used to be, and break blair and dan up... they just dont feel right... chuck and blair are meant to be together... you can see that from miles away

@ Juliette: in 3x12 flashbacks, what we saw was that Chuck arrived at the hospital (emergency?) room (with Serena leading the way) and Lily was already there besides Bart's bed with the doctor speaking to her, Bart was unconscious. Lily then goes to Chuck and tells him the doctors say they couldn't do more for Bart and that they (Lily, Chuck, the family) needed to let him (Bart) go. Chuck can't deal and leaves leaving Lily and Serena behind, so he doesn't actually sees his father die. Considering Serena's overall behaviour up until this episode, there's no way she knew Bart was alive and kept it from Chuck. Lily is not likely either, because it really doesn't benefit her relationship with Rufus. So it's more likely that Bart was dopped to more convincingly fake his death to his family. As for the scene where we see a male nurse putting a blanket over Bart's face, that was Chuck's imagination, since he didn't stayed to see his father die.

i have been cheering for chuck and blair for over 5 years now and i will never stop loving chair. in my opinion they make the show, they are what makes gossip girl intresting. they are epic.

True. I really enjoyed this episode because the gang--yes, including "Serena Lite"--were there! Oh okay, so Dan was again an outsider, but that too was so classic GG. Is anyone else liking Nate and Lola? It's one of those not so horrible relationships for him, it seems. Speaking of Nate, I loved Blair cracking wise about his long-term memory. Oh why can't they work as a team all the time?

I enjoyed GG tonight. I hope the writers will write many storylines and include NJBC together they are aweSOME! I don't see Blair choosing chuck over Dan I still get the feeling thats it over between chair and this was so hope to keep the chair fans invested.

I just seen some of these comments and some of these are really awful!!! I know it sucks but really it's just a show stop watching it!!! Name calling and offensive comments are really uncalled for and don't change the situation!!!!! There is still hope for dair I'm sure....!!!!

Well I want CHAIR. Dair makes me wanna puke. Chair is 100X's better, more chemistry, similar pasts, cute couple, and just plain hot!! In my opinion of course. Don;t get me wrong I think dan and Blair were cool as friends. But gross as a couple. Favorite part of the episode was when the brothel women asked chuck if she could get him someone and Blair acted all jealous and said he had someone. Now why would she do that if she didn't love him??
