What if it's not Kono and Malia, but Chin and Malia who are kidnapped and Kono has to decide which one to save.

It's not the core 4. They are safe. They may make it seem as though one is killed for the finale, but no way are they going to kill the show by getting rid of any of the original 4. This year and last year there were always rumors about Grace Park not wanting to be away from her husband, that they wanted to start a family, etc. Nothing is impossible, but there is a miniscule chance that is going to happen. I was disappointed that Catherine was not in the finale, but she will be there for season 3. I assume that the kidnapping has to do with Chin, Malia, and Kono. As Jschoi said, Chin may have to save Malia because she is a civilian and Kono is the cop. Although the earlier statement was that they would not be there for each other. I can't imagine that Steve and Danny not being there if Kono is kidnapped. There are just so many possibilities. The last 3 episodes should be awesome.

@lena..did you see the part where it says "shootings, explosions, and kidnappings"...I wonder if that is what that actor that plays the bad guy meant when he tweeted that H50 is no more. I wonder if the H50 headquarters is targeted?

@lena..yeah that is the two I think are killed off as well. And your right about catherine, at least we know she is signed on for next season whether she is in the finale or not.
I saw that hashtag..I wonder what makes people worried that kono would be killed off...I just dont see it. She is the only female team member and is chins cousin. Just seems to me lenkov is working overtime to make sure we all return for season 3. The ratings for 2.1 were lower then 1.24 so maybe he is worried some wont come back. I personally dont know how any fan would watch the season 1 finale and not come back for the season 2 premiere! I mean it was a major cliffhanger not to mention it rocked!! :) Plus as an AOL fan it was the hottest he has ever looked...ha ha! loved the scruff!:)

After reading the press release a few times more are we getting to see 3 people get killed of because it's said [A SHOOTER WHO GUNS DOWN TWO OF THEIR OWN] Maybe Fryer and Joe. and then this part.

My guess was always Fryer or Sgt. Duke Lukela now it can be both of them who can be killed off
I am not so worried about the core 4 as I am for Malia I always have said it was weird we got a marriage in the middle of the season.
Many posters on twitter are scared it will be Kono because of the hashtag #H50OhNoKono in the press release! Peter did it again he scares us all for the finale.
As for Catherine don't think they forgot her she won't appear in the season finale I can live with it now I know she comes back in season 3.
It will be a roller coaster ride for sure!

@lena..it is possible catherine is not in the finale. Maybe it was just rumored she was on set. She is not in any BTS pics from what I have seen. But it is also possible they just forgot to list her. Another mystery we cannot solve till the finale...Grrrr!!

@jschoi..I dont know. I have not heard anything about that which I think we would have by now. Terry o quinn is getting his own show, so I would think we would hear if anyone else was. I personally dont think any of the four are leaving. It is still early in the shows success, season 3 is considered still early on, and they all seem to really love being a part of H50. I suppose contracts can be broken but I think when you have a winning formula you leave it alone.
I am just speaking my opinion but I cannot see them getting rid of DDK or GP!! The four of them are important to the show as a team. But crazier things have happened. I am still voting that the four are safe. But i do think one of them will be in jeapordy and we wont truly know till september.
@lena...it is gonna be a tough finale for us isnt it?? Yikes!! I am not ready for this. :(

@amazingalex....I know very little about business and contracts, but are these contracts with the network or the show? If they are with the network, there are several CBS cop shows that haven't been renewed and wouldn't SC, GP, or DDk, particularly SC, be leading candidates for a lead role in a new show. Haven't seen anything to indicate that, but is it possible.

@amazingalex... I don't know I don't like the sound of it I agree this will be worse then last season finale they can't leave's us while some love ones are kidnapped or maybe dead I won't survive the summer if this happens.
I wonder why Michelle/Catherine isn't listed in the recurring or guestlist thought someone tweeted seen her ready for shooting her scene's.
Have a feeling I will be in total shock after watching the finale!

We can all be at least reassured that the core 4 are safe since they all have 7 year contracts but it is still going to be really tough to watch if they are in danger or make us think one of them dies. Well at least we know they are bringing the action BIG TIME!!! Edge of seats here we come!

Kono and Malia seems likely, Chin would have to save Malia not only because she is his wife, but she is a civilian and Kono is a cop and you would always have to save the civilian no matter what.
I've seen so many Grace Park cliffhangers that I have developed an immunity to them so it won't even phase me, but Kono will find a way out somehow.

@lena.....OH My GOSH!!! What are they doing to us??? This is gonna make last seasons cliffhanger seem like nothing. I am concerned about kono and malia as well. That would make sense, but I hope not!! How awful.
That guy who is tweeting about H50 and he is now a bad guy on the show is a ball buster...no way he is gonna make mcg cry unless joe dies. Or unless they make steve and us think kono dies.

@amazingalex... I am getting nervous about the finale to after what Karl Herlinger tweeted today he is a new bad guy who will come back next season. So much will happen think we will get a emotional cliffhanger Get you kleenes ready guys!!

Okay I am getting nervous. This guy Karl Herlinger who I believe is a camera man on H50 keeps tweeting omininous tweets. he keeps saying that for those H50 haters..."your welcome". Then he tweeted something about H50 being done (as in the team) and then he said that they just filmed the final scenes of the last episode of the season and that they are the most emotional ones this season yet....WTH is going on??? What are they going to do to us fans???? I am getting really scared. A fan tweeted to him that he better not hurt the team and he said it is too late for that....WHAT????
I have a feeling this cliffhanger is going to be brutal. I think we may be left thinking one of our team is killed and I think it may be mcg.

Sounds ominous. But then again thats part of his job, to get us talking and thinking. Makes me a little more anxious about the finale though. We know that whatever it is it will be resolved next season, but the wait and speculation will be fun and torture at the same time.

Three times is a charm that go's for Alex I am very happy for him he finally got what he deserves a TOP HIT SERIE! and he is perfect for the role as Steven McGarrett can not imagine that anyone else would have played McG.
Lucky for us Alex and Scott sign 7 years contract don't think the show will servive if one of them would leave.
Danny will choose for Gracie for sure she means everything for Danny somehow they will come up with something that makes him stay on the Task Force Steve don't let him go without fighting for him.

@Zia... The press release for 2.23 is not out yet and I think we have to wait a bit longer for it they always do with the final press release to keep us in the dark about the gueststars.
I am with you finding out who Shellburne is will have a big effect on Steve's life I hope in a good way so he can move on and start to progress his relationship with Cath.
@jschoi.. I agree with you how can a father choose between his child and his job and this for the second time does the writers don't have better idea's for Danny in the finale then this repeat.

@Zia...I agree the H5O fans are more passionate about their serie then the NCIS LA once we can talk about our show for day's LOL. The cross-over is more to improve ratings and NCIS LA is the 2th most watch crime serie on TV so I hope it will help H5O to get better ratings which were great this season but more is always good!

Grrr I meant if the other shows were not cancelled we would NOT have been able to have AOL portray Steve Mcg. (we need an edit button here)
He is Mcg!!!! He just rocks the character like no one else could have. Love his portrayal of him and all that comes with it!
