Could the rose in the promo depict the flower from the books that turned Damon human? That would be an interesting twist...if someone were to turn human or in Elena's case vampire, which I hope does not happen - not because I like her as a human, but because she would never survive being a vampire, she is not strong enough emotionally or physically.

Pic of rose and reference to bloom, has to be subtle hint that Elena will face a choice between brothers, not just who she wants as a lover, but who she wants to turn human, with the mystical rose from the books.

Yep, it's fascinating to watch a pathological narcissistic personality deal with rejection on a daily basis from a sassy, independent hot blonde chick

I love Caroline too. I loved her with Matt, I love her with Tyler, and I seriously doubt I would mind her with Klaus because it would be interesting to delver further into his many personalities and how she would affect him.
I love how BoredNow picks and chooses what parts to respond to without responding to everything and NEVER responds to the fact that they continually watch a show that they hate. Seriously, go put your Buffy DVDs on repeat.
Lol, I wonder this all the time. We've all asked him why he keeps watching but he usually says "for Caroline." :) yay, me too sort of...well not really. But she is my favorite

Your explanation of 'jumping into an entirely different archetype' is simply incorrect. How long has Klaus been on the show? Elijah? Katherine? It isn't as if we see (hypothetical) S2E8 Katherine being a bad-ass and then S2E9 her being all soft. There is build-up. You're just too busy scouring the TVD feed on TV Fanatic to pay enough attention. We've seen Klaus evolving since the beginning of Season 3 as a heartless dick to his vulnerability when it comes to his family, not wanting to be alone, etc. He develops a crush and shows a tender side. It is not out of left field. So know about what you speak before taking to this feed to CONTINUALLY bash a show that you obviously tune into religiously.
Since when was it odd for someone to jump in an argument? Is this another weird rule you have? You know, first you find it so strange that a few people drop negative comments on a website which is not a fan site nor an appreciation page and if you actually read the articles, even the staff here is almost as critical with the show. Not that their opinions matter, but I'm just making a point. Bored Now was not even talking to you and yet you feel the need to reply to every little thing he says. And who are you to talk? Your last post was jumping in with a chat between two people, which had nothing to do with you I mean really, lmfao.

THANK YOU @Allison Berry Barbieri you are completely right. It's straight up stupid to not only watch, but actually take the time to read reviews and comments for people who are actually fans of the show and then go on and rant about how much you hate it.

And he doesn't deserve to be happy in any posible way, he should serve to the story as a characte who cleans their every mess and bad decisions consequences, to entertain fans and spice up the lame story like temptation and compulsion of the writers for us who doesn't understand how big and unbelieveable Stefan and Elena story actually is.
But I will follow the show in the future because I like characters like Damon, Alaric, Klaus, Elijah, Rebeca, Caroline, Bonnie and sheriff Forbes. They are worth watching, not Stefan or Elena.

She should choose Stefan and try to experience of dating real him, just to find out, if this love is (as its so many times called and described as) epic or it was fake and wishfull thinking of hers. As much as I find her and Damon as much more better combination, she is not and will probably never be ready for that kind of guy. She is a poster girl for someone who lives up to anyones and everyones expectations, that kind of gesture could ruin her perfect girl image. Dating saint Stefan is perfect for her, as a person she wants to be. And she will always take him for a saint, no metter what he did or will do in the future either to her or anyone else. Damon as a character is used by a writer of the books as well as tv show producers/writers as a hook for majority of the fans. He is like monster they have crated, but don't expeced to be so popular. And now they have to deal with the lame story of supposed to be epic lovers who need a third wheel to help us swallow it. And he doesn't dese

Well... I read some really cool spoilers. So read on warned -
She pickes Stefan. It´s all in the episode 22, with her reminising about her dead parents. He did save her life that day. Ergo, she pickes him. But not before SLEEPING with Damon. He will be left heardbroken, and will be confronted by griefing Bonnie (Jeremy dies, fokes!).
But! And this is a major plot twist - Damon gets pregnant! Yeaaahh. It´s an atient curse that Klaus will bring on them. And the child that Damon gives birth to is supposed to end the human race - mega super vampire with the blood of a doppleganger. But thats season five - season 4 is just cranky pregnant Damon and Elena turning vamp, so her love child won´t kill her.

As for Klaus, SERIOUSLY? Yes he is the villian of the show but there is a reason he is like that. Sometimes people are bad just because their to the core bad, and some people do bad things because of situations and things that have happened in the past. His humanity of sorts was touched on when saw the flashback of him, rebekah and elijah vow that they would stick together forever, he was a vampire then but he still cared for his family. And then when his father came after him and he was inside the house he was crying because his father was the one thing he was frightened of. And you could tell the entire time all he onces is a family and friends and he does bad things and mainpulates people because he thinks its his only way of making them his friends or keeping them around. He's got issues, hence why he does stupid things! If that's one demensional then apparently everyone else in the world is too.

@bored now
The charcters do not just jump all of a sudden to completely different people. We met all of these people as "villians" because they were a threat to Elena just because they were doing bad things to get what they want does not classify them as complete villians. Every villian has a reason for why they are the way they are.Katherine's family was murdered and she was hunted down by Klaus & Elijah for centuries. She turned her feelings off so that she didn't have to deal with all of those feelings, so she did bad things in the process of it all. But it is very clear that all vampire have their humanity they just choose to turn it off, which means they can turn it on. So if she turns it on once in a while to show who you actually is, whats the problem?
As for Elijah he was never proceived to be a villian. Again he was a threat because he wanted to kill Klaus which would kill Elena in the process. He never seem evil, he just seemed determined. He was a man of his word and i

I am Team Stefan too...and i do hope she will choose Stefan. Someone said something about her turning to a vamp, perhaps that should be the cliffhanger. Makes perfect sense and i think/hope she will choose Stefan to turn her becos she trusts him. Again, i know the writers will not want to ignore the Delena shippers, so i think she will "seemingly" chose Stefan BUT quietly STILL have feelings for Damon, so well, the season ends with her "choosing Stefan" since Plec said she WILL choose (physically) but knowing Elena, the silly triangles (i call it silly cos the producers are only drawing out or rather squeezing out every drop of worthwhile profits from the beautiful people of this show and their screaming teenage fans who does nothing but threatened every now and then that they wont watch TVD anymore if Delena doesnt get together)
anyways....lets sit tight and see, shall we?

Wow who even cares who elena picks anymore?Im so over her and her undecisive wobbling back and forth
SO TRUE! Totally agree. Besides, Stefan is way more fun with Rebekah (I still don't get why she didn't even TRY to win him back after she woke up; I mean, she was ready to leave Klaus and everything for him in the 20's). Damon is much more fun with, well, everyone else.
I don't know why story writers always miss the point of making a choice in a "love triangle" believable... Same happend to Jack/Kate/Sawyer and Bill/Sookie/Eric! At one point, everyone just wants to see the girl die because it's getting really, really annoying :-( I once really liked Elena. Seems ages ago now.
@BoredNow...then why bother watching?! No one is making you watch the show...yet you watch it, seek out a review to read, and then complain about how terrible it is. It's just a show. Sure it has weak points, but it's just TV...you can NOT watch, you know.
