I love CM and the final episode of season 7 was captivating. The intensity escalated, one problem after another, but later resolved with a good ending. Once again, I was impressed by the determination of the team, especially J.J. in combat with Izzy, fighting to protect her son. She showed her great strength and intelligence. That scene was done beautifully. I feel sad to know that Prentiss is leaving the show. I don't know if there's a replacement and how the new character would be. I have to say that I really admire Gideon and hope that he might return or a character is developed with his traits.
According to the news, CBS will have CM continue in the next season. Bravo! Can hardly wait to watch...

@jo as far as im aware aj's son has allways played hendry and please god no to bringing will in to fill the void left by emily. It might just be me but i hate the will character more than i did the ashley character.

good season finale sad to see emily go. I just hope they dont give us more will not that he and jj are married as not really a fan of his character.

I absolutely loved it, just wow. It was intense, suspense, beautiful, and heart-wrenching all at the same time. I've been complaining bitterly all season about the quality of the episodes, so this was a wonderful surprise. I can't think of anything I didn't like about this episode. And I'm actually more sad about Prentiss/Paget leaving than I thought it would be.

How about an NCIS-criminal minds crossover?It will be fun just to see a meeting between abby and reid the two geniuses.

Not a bad finale but not up there with some of the previous shows. Sorry to see Prentiss go. Why would anyway dislike her? A rare show that has great actors, usually good stories and characters that are not irritating-although Kevin adds nothing. Kevin more attractive than Reid`s character? Ladies say it ain`t so!
The fight scene with Izzy and JJ was pure bullshit. How about some thumbs in eyes, hair pulling or biting? A trained assassin who doesnt have a knife and gets beaten by the soccer mum?? Pleeease! The ending was a lamathon. Everybody chummed　up.
More of Reid next season please and how about some sexual tension in the show. I hoped Morgan would make a pass at Prentiss at least!

Loved the finale ! Sorry to see Emily go, but her struggles over the past year plus made sense of her reasoning. Of course her "family" will understand even though they will miss her. Great that the door is opened for her to pop in on occasion ! With Will now openly known to be on D.C. force, it makes it possible for them to use him in cases in D.C. area. This could fill part of the Emily void without bringing in a new character and I think would please fans more then the Ashley character did. I have never liked Strauss but am admitting the character is growing on me. Were her and Rossi "involved" ?? Ick ! I know A.J.'s son has played Henry before on the show, was he playing Henry last night ? He sure looked alot like her ! Can't wait for season 8 !!!!!

man, tricia helfer freaks me out in everything she is in. I really want paget to not quit the show! I never understand why people hate prentiss; i think she's totally bad ass. The dynamics on criminal minds are so great :( I have no idea what the hell people are talking about with jj and hotch- it's like male/females on tv aren't allowed to be friends. there HAS to be sexual chemistry.

wow what an episode!!this is defo my fav this season,maybe overall.I was so happy JJ had a big part in this episode, and watching her kick Izzy's ass was was amazing.Loved the slow mo emptying of the clip!i was glued to the screen the entire time!!the whole hotch/jj scenes/connections were so sweet :) im sad to see prentiss go and hope she makes a few cameos nxt season...the scenes between prentiss/reid were always hilarious.jj's reaction almost made me cry wen she saw will go in and after wen he was shot.i hope will is in next season more and jj needs to get more fight scenes...she can kick major ass!!!
CBS did a fabulous job with Criminal Minds Finale. This was one of the best episodes of the season. I was impressed with the storyline for all of the characters. This is one of my favorite shows when the plots do not deal with overly gruesome murders. Glad to see they ended the season with a bank robbery and a bomb plot. Perfect set up to bring in interesting extras. It makes the show much more interesting than just dwelling on a sociopath and how he or she will gruesomely kill their next victim.
Sorry to see that Prentiss is leaving, but all good things come to an end. She had such great chemistry with the team. I guess this gives them room for fresh new blood on the team.
Season 8 here we come... Can't Wait!!

First I want to say that for the finale time Paget was thinking of leaving CM LONG before what happen to her last year she does not hate CBS or the show like some websites have said she left for the same reason Mandy Parkens left.
Ok on to the finale WOW that was so much better then Last year finale I was on the edge of my seat I wanted to hold JJ when she started crying I do not like it when JJ crys.Will really has change from when we first met him and I hope we see more of him. I agree with you Renata Sellitti that fight between JJ and Izzy so remind me of Hotch and The Reaper It was very special thing to see and we almost ever see a good female fight anymore on TV.
I am glad they did not killed Izzy I hope one day they will use her again that would be so great I know Strass say she wont get out anytime soon but I think anything is possible.
It looks like Morgan and Hotch are finally friends again and hopefully we can see a Gibbs/Tony friendship with them next year, I f

Loved the season finale! I am sad that Prentiss is leaving, I really like Emily. There is so much they could do with her character, that they haven't explored (Aren't her parents Ambassadors or something? Or at least her mom is?)and I will miss watching her interaction with the team she was my favorite! As far as the story goes, who was the Queen? We got her name at the end but that's it. Is she American? Why is she a disgruntled ex vet? What about the story she was telling Henry, what's with her grandaddy? It felt like there was no explanation to the story at all as to who and why they were doing it. Just that they were disgruntled ex vets of some kind. Why didn't anyone have her picture anywhere? Just seemed very vague to me and not the usual in depth explanations we usually get from the team.
Loved that Will and JJ got married, and he survived! Maybe he will be more prominent next season, I really like his character, he's a good guy. Plus, I love his accent.

The episode was exciting and suspenseful, I'll give you that. To be honest, though, I was immediately suspicious of the ever-so-helpful supposed hostage who turned out to be the fourth man. Not because of anything he did, but because he DID something. I've watched too many police procedurals, I guess.
But the one thing I found completely unforgivable was that Will drove home and left his young son in the hands of a murderous psychopath instead of driving into a wall at sixty miles an hour.

I hope CBS is paying for our Anxiety meds!!! Was glued to the Edge of my seat!!
Great Acting, Writing, Special Effects, and over-all Awesome Finale!(except for the last 10 minutes)
@Renata - glad you finally saw the JJ/Hotch connection - I was a bit surprised how let down I was when she married Will, sniff. I almost cried when she pleaded, "Aaron" And why no scene with JJ dancing with Hotch?!
However.......that being said, I had some issues (I know its TV and not reality!)but:
1) JJ promised Will one of them would always be with Henry?! WTH so when she is gone for 2,3,4 or 5 days on a case, Will is NOT ALLOWED to work?
2) Seriously, we are supposed to believe THAT modern wedding dress was your Mothers?!?! (and fit PERFECTLY)
It will be interesting to see where Season 8 takes us. "Beth" just got her own show - will we see more Rossi / Strauss?, will we ever get to a Reid story? (miss his interactions with his mom)
