Gossip Girl Producers: Return to "Core Dynamics and Characters" Ahead
Gossip Girl's core characters and dynamics will be on display in the CW drama's sixth and final season this fall, according to executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage.
With show-runner Josh Safran departing to helm Smash Season 2, and producer Sara Goodman elevated to his former role, one can at least hope (if not expect) this will actually be the case.
Schwartz confirms that the 11-episode Gossip Girl Season 6 will focus on a return to the “core dynamics and the core characters” that drew fans to the show in droves at the outset.
Adds Savage of the coming conclusion to the show:
“There are definitely some things we want to see in the Gossip Girl series finale, and we think we have a great opportunity to tell those final stories and honor our characters and honor our fans."
"We’re all really excited for this final run.”

Yes Gossip Girl is a classic you gave up on One Tree Hill dont give up on this too. There Should be a Gossip Girls Season 7 for more questions to be resolve about who is the biological parents to Chuck Bass

Finally Safran is not in gossip girl. I think he's one of the reasons why G strayed too far.

Also ich komme aus Deutschland und ich bin auch ein großer Fan von der Serie. Am Anfang war ich auch für Blair und Chuck, aber jetzt find ich die Idee, dass blair und dan ein paar werden können auch gar nicht so schlecht. Es wäre sogar gut und schön, wenn dan und blair ein Paar werden. Gegensätze ziehen sich ja auch an und blair und dan sind unterschiedlich. Außerdem nervt es langsam mit dan und serena. Sowieso sollte serena lieber mit Nate zusammenkommen. Er ist ja schon ewig mit ihr befreundet. Ich finde es aber auch schade, dass blair ihr Kind verloren hat, sie dachte ja schonmal sie wäre schwanger. Darum würde ich mich sehr freuen, wenn blair am ende der sechsten Staffel wirklich ein Kind bekommt und zwar mit dan. Dan dachte ja auch schon einmal er wäre der Vater von Milow und es stellte sich dann heraus, dass Georgina ihn nur angelogen hat. Dan und Blair würden eine schöne Familie abgeben. An open letter to the producers please make the sixth and final season as good as if not better than the show at it's peak please dont ruin our beloved characters and take them and the show back to it's roots the season 5 finale ended in a way that took all the characters back to where they were when the show began so do them and us the loyal fans justice we know that you can especially now that Safran has been outed that man ruin years of character development to make Dair happen and he lost over half the shows fanbase by doing so please give us what we want and deserve xoxo B

I hope that Chuck and Blair live happilly ever after but before that I hope they get lots of on screen nasty. Season 5 was so sexless. I don't watch tv to see two people with no chemisty sitting there blabbing back and forth to each other about who is highbrow (WTF)
