So now people are saying Serena tricked Dan. Dan is a grown man. Even if they don't have sex, Dan still makes a choice. Drunk almost sex with Ex, Drunk sex with girlfriend...oh Dan. Season 5 was the worst GG season, makes sense it was the season of Dair. Time to be done now, thanks

Ok... The episode was amazing. Of course it would be; it was Bass-centric:)
And Ed was beyond perfect and in the promos his performance looks earthshaking (fangirling much?:])
I'm so ready for a Chair finale...but the promos don't help me get my hopes up... And Blerena is so over. That's just sad. For who? Tell me for who? Dan? Did you see him when he got out of the bathroom? I almost died from laughing.
Blerena and Chair.. Two ships which went through pretty much everything in 4 and a half seasons (along with us shipers), and yet survived, may end tragically due to events of like 8 episodes... Heartbreaking... Trully heartbreaking.

i really want a chair reunion but for some reason i think she may choose dan next week
the writers said they wernt writing as though this is the last season and i still believe that chuck and blair are endgame which also leads me to think theyll make us wait till next year for their reunion
the thhing about GG promos is theyre always so misleading - they never give you in the episode what the promos made you think they would
like i said i still want a chair reunion but im not getting my hopes up cus of the amount of times the writers have had them on the very edge of getting back together only to rip them apart at the last minute
cannot wait for next weeks ep i just hope its as good as the last couple have been

Part 2 of my comment: They have a fight, she says that he should think about it and meet her on the rooftop if he wants to be with her etc. End scene of the finale is a scene on the roof top where Chuck shows up while Blair waits for him and he finally says yes (the say yes motto). That's what I'm thinking :)
Maybe she initially even leaves with Dan or intents to and Chuck follows her??? Would explain the over-seas thing as well.
And about the diary....we all know Serena wasn't okay with this relationship even if she acted to be. It would make sense if she read Blairs diary to know how Blair really feels and to know if she ever would have a chance again with Dan. Maybe she photographed the pages or scanned them so she could read them quietly without being interrupted by Blair. That's why the pages where on her laptop, not for any bad intention, but now Gossip Girl has the laptop and found the pages.

Probably Serena (knowing the friend's true feelings) suggests to Dan that Blair always will love Chuck and she'll always choose him (it is true), Dan misunderstand, together will be drunk and will have sex. Serena will deceive herself that Dan still has feelings for her . Serena is dumb but would never intentionally hurt Blair. And it's the same situation between chuck and Jenny at the end of the third season.
What do you think about the Relationship Between Chuck and Bart?

Okay I commented on another article, but here it is again:
The spoilers say that Chucks 'say yes' motto comes back in the finale but in a way he doesn't expect + THE ring is back. Besides that: the episode Chuck wanted to propose to Blair they weren't in such good place as well (the hotel drama) so it isn't impossible that there WILL be a proposal.
My theory was the following: Blair proposes to Chuck. It would make sense, the say-yes motto in a way he doesn't expect, Blair who finally feels powerful and strong and stuff (everything she always wanted to be, remember), the return of the ring, the clear decision of Blair for one of the two men in her life etc.
I also heard the "I'm not mr. Blair Waldorf, I'm Chuck Bass", which would make sense if Blair would propose to Chuck, since Chuck seems the kind of man who doesn't want to be proposed but proposes himself. Okay so what I think happens next is season 3 finale all over again but in a good way this time. They have a fight, she sa

I agree with you, it is possible that is a Serena dream. But I do not understand something else. If sex between Serena and Dan was a dream (someone's dream), then why Dan tells Serena to a Canadian video: There is no us Serena ...? There is discontinued, but if there was sex, then it makes sense that conversation between Serena and Dan. Serena is likely to come to convince Dan that his relationship with Blair is over, because the two of them had sex. Of course, silly Humphrey reluctant, believing in Blair. As I said, it needs more information.

i dont understand... why is chuck so mad at blair telling her he doesnt want to play games and that hes not 'mr blair waldorf' and then he has a ring in this episode? why do they have to cram everything into the season finale, blair is with dan..an hour later chuck is proposing to her..REALLY??? anyone got any ideas about why chuck has the ring? is he going to propose?

Is it just me or I don't see the connection with Chuck && Blair? Blair is over Chuck she still cares about him but only as friends. DAIR = ENDGAME : )

Can I just say, that this is an incredibly well written review. Really. It communicates perfectly the significance of the events of the episode, and remains neutral when discussing Dan/Chuck. Props to Steve Marsi!

So, my dream scenario goes down like this: Blair chooses Chuck, obviously, but he rejects her. She tells him to meet her at the top of Empire (aka 3×22 at the top of the Empire State building). And hopefully, the ring will be involved.

Oh my, there's so much going on in my head right now. OK... I don't believe it was Serena who send in Blair's diary. She may have, however, took the picture at that time she had GG's laptop, but then decided not to use it. Now GG found it and used it to hurt their friendship. That's why Serena sat by the stairs all devastated.
As for the Derena sex scene, I don't think it is a dream, because Dan then blames Serena for telling him Dair is over.
I also doubt the ring scene is a dream since (I hope) they won't name the whole episode based on a dream.
It's highly unlikely that Blair will choose Dan. And more unlikely that they'll to Rome together.
As for Chuck and Blair, the previews give us hardly any hope for their reunion. But then again, Blair is going to make a definite choice. There's the casino scene. The ring. The Harry Winston openning in Shanghai.

Sorry @ Anonymous but not the same scene as between Serena and Nate, I just watched it. There was no removal of Serena dresses. Plus it was not the same dress, nor color was the same, now blue, and then was gold. There is no champagne. Is it the same place that I'm not sure. Perhaps it is a dream, but whose. I have already stated my view that is perhaps Dan. More information is needed. But one thing is certain, UES what we now know will cease to exist, which is a stupidity!

scene at the bar, yeah it does make sense for it to be a dream. but who's? could be dan, if he still has (repressed) feelings for serena. could definitely be serena's, because we all know she's still hung up on dan.
it would be sad if blair chooses to stick with dan just so she can hurt serena. also, i hope blair appreciates the fact that serena's just trying to help her by making her realize that she still loves chuck.
i don't want to get attached to any pairings because love angles get crazy on GG. i just hope that whoever Serena and Blair end up with, it's going to get there in a way that makes sense, and makes for good TV.
