Finally sex between Serena and Dan! And it seems to be a real fireworks of passion! Stick to well-Humphrey, you are waiting for the volcano of Serena, which has not been active throughout the season! Dan finally realizes he is in love with an illusion - Blair. Blair does not love Dan! It would be better to Blair called her mind as soon as and get back Chuck. As for the friendship between Serena and Blair, it will have to disappear, at least until the end of the season, in order to reconcile these two in season 6, or maybe not. Their friendship was gone the moment when Blair stole from Serena the love of her life. Blair knew what Serena feels about Dan, in 100 episode of conversation between Blair and Serena. Yay scheming with the gang again : D. Yes, the fact Bart is alive and the reason is kind of silly, but it's not like they bring characters back from the dead every week, so I can suspend my disbelief. It's more believable than Chuck sleeping with Jenny, then falling in love with and dating Raina (seriously what was that all about? I act like it never happened...)Not to mention Blair having nothing in her life to live for but men!
I liked Bart coming back, I always enjoyed that father son dynamic. I'm so glad they didn't dump the story in the first five minutes of the episode, and instead followed through with it and actually brought Bart back! I would love to see how tense it gets if Bart still treats Chuck like a teenager, even though he runs a hotel now in his own right ; P. I can definetly see some business wars going on there lol.
Also am I the only one who would kind of actually want to see Lilly and Bart get back together? I dunno, but I always kind of liked those two tog

Gossip Girl has become so ridiculous it is not funny. They seem to have hired the Days of Our Lives writers to come write for them. Bringing Bart from the dead and giving him a weak so full holes story is classic Days of Our Lives or even Bold and the Beautiful. When GG first aired I WAS SO AMAZED AND LOVED EVERY SECOND OF THE FIRST TWO AND HALF SEASONS. From that moment on it became stupid, the writing went down hill and the shocks and plot twist felt so contrived that it doesn't even make sense. I thought the idea of Dair would be fun, but SHE IS NOT IN LOVE WITH HIM. It is clear as daylight yet the writers are forcing the issue. Dan is the better guy for her, that true and thats what she is in love with, it's different to what she has been used to.
I really hope that next season is the last season. This show has lost its plot and needs to end to make room for other shows.

It's funny all this time everyone was in a shipping war but now all my attention is on the B&S friendship. And wow really? Serena steals Blair's boyfriend again and in the same style as she did with Nate at the Shepard wedding! Bad move S. Thank god gossip girl is back to it's good old self because lately it's been awesome!

Things don't look good for DS since Dan figures out that Serena was working to break Dair and it seems he says the whole "there is no us" another day. Maybe he goes to Rome alone or with Georgina.
No idea how the casino pics play out here. Some are speculating Bart is punishing Chuck because of the money he spent in Blair's dowry. Maybe Chuck is forced somehow to be gambling? And Blair comes to choose him or help him? You also need to remember Bart Bass appears in one of the pics with Chuck. During tonight's episode, in the last scene of Bart and Chuck, it looked like Bart kept one pic of himself with Chuck (of season 2, actually a between shots pic of 2x7 used now like a canon pic), so it looks like Bart is Chuck's father. I loathe the idea of Jack being the real father but Bart's action as per the Canadian promo are now making me doubt, and that casino p

Guys, I found a better version of the Canadian Promo, if TV Fanatic is going to post it they should use this one:
I yes the Mr. Blair Waldorf line is there. Now the problem is to figure out the context of this whole thing, from the promo we see Chuck and Blair have at least 2 conversations, but the ones we see are very strained, like Chuck kinda rejecting the idea of Blair getting closer to him, most likely to avoid more pain for himself. As for the Serena and Blair debate, it looks to me this episode is going to leave them both looking bad. Blair already looks bad to many fans because of the whole breaking the girls code by going the Dair relationship, but now Serena is going to look bad for many by doing a redux of the Sheppard Wedding mess, only this time is the Sheppard Divorce party (as per spoilers) and Dan replaces Nate. I thought this was the best episode of the season. It was ridiculous but powerful, you know? Blake Lively and Leighton Meester killed it.

Yes Chuck does say I don't want to be Mr. Blair Waldorf and he does say I'm Chuck Bass but not sure if it's in the same scene. Weird...it's all moving so fast...when was he ever Mr. Blair Waldorf...unless he is referencing to pining over her all these months.

When Dan and Serena were together, Serena would try to incorporate Dan in her world and he would do the same. With Blair they are either in her room or in his loft. They don't mingle with their friends...B just started interacting with the gang in the last 2 episodes but in doing so, Dan is left behind...and at the end of each ep we see B paying the tole back to brooklyn for some lackluster sex, if any at all and a hum drum life. I think it's true these writers cannot write relationships. If Chair get back together I hope it's at the end of season 6 with a Chair wedding as a dvd extra.

Why is the American promo so miss leading compared to the Canadian??? UGH! All i want is Dan & Serena back together and now the canadian promo says otherwise. This is frustrating :(

I cant stand Blair!!! Why does she seem to be in love w chuck one minute and NeXT she telling dan she really wants to spend her summer in rome w him!! Go serena!!! Im rooting For serena For now on!! Blair is pathetic! The writers should have never hooked her up w dan..a huge mistake! What was the point of her sleeping w her bff long time love..she threw everything away For someone she doesnt even love! She just gross and terrible..chuck should move on with out her.
I am not defending anyone, Blair and Serena have done some mistakes. But what is Serena's excuse for sleeping with Dan now? 5 years later... Yes she might still be in love with Dan, but she knows for a fact that Dan has feeling for Blair AND they are together, even though Blair has been on the crossroads between men for two seasons now. Trust me, Blair and he inability to make up her own mind annoys me too. Serena for me was completely lost all season, the writers did not really give her any interesting storyline this season.
At this stage GG seems to forced and rushed.
I am hoping that with Josh gone to Smash the show that was once loved will pick up again.

If Dan slept with S or romped with S or whatever just because she told him Blair left him then he is no better than Chuck. YOu know as much as much as I don't like Louis...he was the only one who waited and had faith in B. Of course before they assasinated his character to get rid of him.

Also, for those hoping for a Derena reunion, that doesn't seem to be where the finale will leave us. From the Canadian promo pty posted, Dan seems to suggest that Serena told him Blair was leaving him to get him to cheat on her--and he also says, "Serena, there is no us"

So as much as I liked this episode. I am now rewatching and they did try to hard to re-emphasize the relationship with B&S just so they could tear them apart next epi. Further, all this Bart stuff doesn't explain what the heck he was doing at the brothel. I can understand sneaking to town to give blood to your dying son but why was he in town recently. You are hiding from someone who has threatened to off your family and you come back to the city to attend a sexcapade.....go figure.

I'm sorry but this past episode and the scenes from next week are bullshit. I thought from all the spoilers that Blair and Chuck were finally going to be together the right way. Not that it would be a copout because Serena and Dan hooked up when Dan was mad so Blair goes running to Chuck. I wanted to punch Blair in the face every scene tonight when she kept saying "I really do want to go to Italy". She's such a weak person. She told Serena herself that she wanted to have a summer to herself, not stuck at someone's side like last summer, but she didn't even have the courage to tell Dan that. She was awesome in Raiders of the Lost Ark, but she lost me in this episode. She's such a weak little person it's gross. Chuck deserves better than being her second resort. And kudos to Serena who should have seduced Dan along time ago and spared us all the nauseating Dair drama. Writers, stop teasing us with Chair, if its not going to happen then just let it not happen so I can calmy replace my Mon
