I am posting this on behalf of my husband. He was so upset they decided to cancel this series. He really enjoyed Missing.
@Fudgefase wow, then that's truly sad.
I wish the network would renew this series. It was one of the better shows on network television.
Cancelled - I'm betting because the lead was an 'older' woman. Older women aren't allowed on TV, you should know that! Even if Ashley kicked b*tt with the best of them, she's not 22 any more and is therefore unbankable. Shame on Hollywood!
I wish the network would renew this series. It was one of the better shows on network television. The thrill of the chase on a weekly basis was so exhilirating. Hoping that ABC changes its mind about the cancellation!!!!!There are lots of devoted fans out there.....
I m going to miss this show. The network should have given it another chance.
I only watched it initially and continued to watch because I'm a fan of Judd. She and Sean Bean are the only reasons to watch this series.
"You're right, I'm not. I'm a mother"...are u kidding me? ...and then when she posed in silhouette with the gun hanging down and hand on hip I had a flashback to 70s sexploitation films.
I also have problem with scenes and dialogue which do nothing to promote or expand on the story. Ninety percent of the scenes involving the son were pure soap opera filler repeating things we already know.
After watching the last episode I immediately checked to see if it had been cancelled. I am relieved because my crush on Ashley may have led me to continue watching.
This show and Homeland are the two tv shows that have come anywhere close to filling my 24 void. I'm sad that Missing got cancelled but it's nowhere near as good as Homeland and 24 are so I'm not too upset.
I really enjoyed the finale. In fact, I thought it was a perfect series finale if only they cut out the "One week later" scene.
All in all, I consider Missing a very enjoyable mini series. Because honestly, once Becca reunited with her son, there isn't much more to carry the series.
P.S. - I watched Person Of Interest, Missing, and the Nikita finales tonight (Nikita airs on Thursday in Canada). It was so awesome, like a CIA triad of awesomeness! Anyways, after watching the three finales, I would say POI was the best, then Nikita and then Missing. I don't want to spoil you guys about Nikita but I'm just going to say, Season 3 is going to be so amazing!
