but now that elena is a vampire doesnt that mean that she is going to remember meeting damon before stefan
This finale was amazing, I cried, laughed, smiled and ended with my jaw detaching from my mouth.
I cannot wait to see the next season. It will be so good.

This show is truly amazing, keeps you on the edge full time. There's a lot of Damon supporters but hey, sorry, i really really really hope she choses and stays with Stefan all the way. Great cast, great direction.

As far as My dearest Klaus is concerned... yay klaus is alive! Julie Plec said that Morgan will be back as Klaus in long term so what now?? Just enjoy Caroline-tyler''klaus'' interactions as long they last! I do want Klaus to win her over.. the scene on 21 were he told her ''it's me.you are safe.we ll save elena'' it was oh my god! So sexy...I need Klaus' redemption,addition to the gang.. In a way i consider him to be i much much much superior case of ''chuck'' in GG... starting as the bad and lonely guy,in klaus case a mass murderer but because of love turning into good! Klaus for ever!!!!!!

This was definately the most schocking finale on tvd! Although many support that the season lack of direction and the triangle has become tiresome and i did for a while (from episode 15 and later),i had a change of heart from ep.21...All were done the way they were supposed to be! we thought that S3=originals but in fact it was Elena's life before and after... It was clear that she felt so much for Stefan because he rescued her and was guilty because she was supposed to die with her parents and she didn't know how to live anymore- all that came full circle on the finale! She died like she was supposed to 2 years ago and her ''debt'' to stefan is complete... To all Delena Fans i beieve that in the end you will be satisfied! this show has the unique ability to restore the wrongs of the past in such a beautiful way!
Elena will be a badass vampire- i know! i know that a serious storyline will be to find a way to reverse it but a really hope they don't.. Everything is so much more exciting

This is the best television show I have seen in years!! The story lines keep you on the edge of your seat. Damon, oh my, he is absolutely gorgeous. We discuss this at work all the time, you see I am not a teenager, I am a mother with almost grown children! This show has completely captivated me. Thank you CW for a fabulous show.
OMG, I felt sad when Elena saying she chose Stefan and let Demon out of her life.
Anyway after Elena turned into vampire maybe some changing will be coming,,,,,I hope :)

Can someone please clear something up for me? Stefan is very strong....he seriously couldn't pull Matt and Elena out of the car in the water at the same time? Really? And why would Meredith keep from everyone that Elena's head damage was potentially deadly?

I figured out more of the season finale and I saw that it was a major shocker. The vampires,including Stefan and Damon,are lucky to be alive but the spoilers tell us that Klaus isn't dead. Rebekah spoils up Matt,he drives over the bridge,Stefan comes to rescue Elena like before,but she says to save Matt's life instead. Elena dies and I'm not sure if Dr.Fell gave her what she needs to come back as a vampire(arriving in season 4)or Stefan must've gave her vampire blood before she died out when he got her out of the water next. I feel sorry that Elena lost her parents on this bridge and she died out the same as well. Hopefully that when she's a vampire,she'll still love Stefan when she chose him. I can't wait for season 4.It's going to be an awesome but major startup(just like Breaking Dawn part 1 when it stops with Bella becoming and waking up as a vampire and then coming part 2 with her life as a vampire to face the Volturi).This episode was the most insane and shocking than I've ever s

And how interesting the part with the bridge ! Stefan saving her intead of the dad/Stefan saving Damon instead of her ! Nicely done. Those flashbacks were FINALLY useful !

ok, didn't really like the episode... and Elena "turning into a vampire" well, not yet... She has yet to complete the transition which is not a done deal... But what I liked the most was the flashback with Damon ! Which leaves us an open window for Delena ! And I thought Klaus was dead ! Damn, that guy never dies ! Bonnie and Meredith are both in BIG trouble ! Bonnie because she saved Klaus without them knowing about it, and Caroline is not really gonna be happy about it... But where does that leave us with Tyler... And Meredith, well obviously her playing god finally paid off : Elena got turned coz she died, all that because Doc here had to do it, again... Season 4, we'll see because that season 3 wasn't so good...
I don't know much yet of the season finale but it sure looks like it ended insanely wild and cool. I can't believe that my prediction was right of Elena choosing Stefan and now the Stelena fans will rise again. Well, I’m not condoning death threats—I don’t take any TV show that seriously. If you love the show and think there’s little wrong with it, fine. For me, the writing has deteriorated and needs to improve; and I’m not just talking about the love triangle. They need to step up the writing and the directing and if that means changing Julie Plec or whoever is in charge of writing the episodes (I really don’t care what their names are) then so be it. The show used to be much better than it is now, so whoever was writing it before has fell off their game. They need to know that. But, life goes on and I agree that there’s no need to make death threats over a TV show—that's just stupid.
But, back to my original reason for that post, I just think it's insane that people, especially people who claim to be fans, are so upset that "Elena" (not a real person) chose "Stefan" (Not a real vampire) over "Damon" (another fake vampire)...on a fictional show. I LOVE the show and am actually a Delena shipper, but it's TV for crying out loud! I post on here a lot because I enjoy discussing the show and getting answers to questions I have (kind of like a book club for TV), but I would NEVER consider lambasting an actual human if I was upset about a writing decision. I'd probably just complain about it on here a little and move on. And, if it got to a point that I really hated something, I'd stop watching.

Insulting an actual human over the fate of fictional characters. And, to be fair, Julie Plec doesn't write every episode. My point was that people should not be flipping out over the direction of the show, particularly regarding "the triangle", if the entire story hasn't been told.
Besides, she has been the show runner the entire time, so why do you say she is mediocre now if there was a time you did love it? If you read the interviews with her, you will find the story actually makes a lot of sense and, while there ARE logic fails that annoy me at times, I still think it's a very fun and engaging show.

So people are not supposed to say that they think Julie Plec is a bad writer if that's what they think? Get real. I think she's a mediocre writer; caring has nothing to do with ability. This show could be much better if a better writer was at the helm. Not everyone is willing to turn a blind eye to the random plot twists, lousy character development, and the destruction of potentially awesome characters. I still watch the show, but it is no longer in my top ten. In a nutshell, I watch it now purely for entertainment, but I'm no longer in love with it.

I do agree, however, that it was bad writing and too an extent OOC for Stefan. Because he always puts Elena first. It's a lot of damage the writers have created for Stefan's character so there definitely has to be a good explanation for it (like the compulsion scarring him so that he refuses to take someone else's free will away) instead of it just being a device used to fuel the love triangle and or/cause drama for Stelena next season. While it's natural it doesn't always work that way. In One Tree Hill though Julian wanted to save Brooke from drowning first he ended up saving Jamie first because she pleaded with him. And I found that believable. Here, I understand Stefan's actions and Elena's choice but in the writing it was flawed because I don't know if even Stefan would have been that selfless, if it makes sense?

As I said if it was a real life Stefan would have been able to save them both. But it's not.
And if I was good at swimming (unfortunately I'm not) I'd save my husband/boyfriend over anyone else. I think that's normal.
Damon: She's strong and crafty and you'll die. Elena: At least I'll die trying.
