Angie Harmon looks as the best replacement for Paget. I don't think the new even a good actor, is the "right one" as replacement.

I remembered the name of the person from Law & Order who I think would have been a good replacement for Paget Brewster. Her name is Angie Harmon. I hope the show doesn't get cancelled. Removing Prentiss from the show is a big mistake. I understand that she wanted to leave but they should have tied her up so she couldn't get away.

I've seen it before on long running shows where they change the characters and dynamics of the show thinking it will relate to what the public wants. If we didn't like the show the way it is, we wouldn't watch it. Doesn't that tell you to leave it alone. Paget will try other things but I think and hope she will be back. That will open the door for Jean to leave. A better person to join would be a woman that was on Law & Order. Can't remember her name. Very pretty, tall with dark hair and growly type voice. She would be fantastic because she's a no-nonsense attitude like Paget.

I am watching reruns on CBS (2) and ION (3) and can't wait for new stories. I know the new season starts Sept. 26th but I googled to see what time and found this blogs. I wish I didn't find it cause I didn't know that Paget left the show. For me, that's a huge loss because she and JJ are balanced....JJ is soft and comforting whereas Paget is .. let's get the job done kinda person. I've seen this new actor before and was never impressed with her. I'm not particularly happy that Reid has a girlfriend because I want him for myself...LOL. Interesting that there's no mention of Hotch finding a girlfriend...

Ive noticed a lot of people have commented on Reid or lack of, ive been watching last years reruns and have noticed he was been producing and/or directing so maybe that is the reason.

Give the new lady a chance; yes, it tough to see favourites go, but such is real life, and let's just be thankful that we still have Hotch, Rossi, Morgan, Garcia and JJ. Remember, most of us adapted to Gideon and Elle's departure. There's still a lot of continuity to be had - now let's hope CM producers maintain that continuity- they've had some problems with that in the past few seasons.

i am glad Prentiss is gone.
It will be great to see Reid have a girlfriend, just as long as she is pretty and intellectual as he is. i would like to see the rookie FBI girl be his girlfriend!

I LOVE this show!! I will watch no matter what. I am hooked and that's that. Jeanne was GREAT in Big Love and I know she'll be great in Criminal Minds!

I feel bad that Em is leaving, but I hope she will come on from time to time. I would love for Em and Hotch to connect in a romantic reltionship. Get rid of Beth as Hotch looks WHIMPY around her. Even Alex would do better in a relationship with Hotch. Fan Dodie hit it right on. Read above.

I do not like the new addition, Templeton dos not have enough class for this position. I do not like the new Hotch character, it destroys his persona. They are trying to make him look like he is 29 again, and he never was. The Beth person is not right for him, immature and silly. For goodness sake, the man is on the hard side of 50. You would think that after seven years in the BAU and all the other years, that he would have a FEW gray hairs and look more distinguished.
He acts like a immature teenager when with Beth. we all know he was p-whipped when with Halley, but pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee.
