Gossip Girl Season Premiere to Be Titled ...

by at .

Only 11 episodes of Gossip Girl remain, and the first of them has a name. The sixth and final season premiere, scheduled to premiere this fall, will be titled "Gone Maybe Gone," according to Josh Schwartz's Twitter.

More importantly, the episode will be co-written by executive producers Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, renewing hopes that the show's original shot-callers will play a crucial role in shaping the final chapter.

They've promised a return to core dynamics and characters, so here's hoping.

Producer Sara Goodman was promoted to show-runner after Gossip Girl Season 5, replacing Joshua Safran, who left to run Smash, and stirred up major controversy throughout the past year.

Also, Gossip Girl is currently casting for three new recurring roles. Two of those are female (Sage and Amira) and one is male (Jean-Pierre). More details to follow as they become available.

"returning to core dynamics" is the mantra even while they're casting 3 recurring roles for only 10 episodes? what a joke lol

@Sam, I really hope that too, to be honest with you! I think that it will be the only thing that could get back her on track. Even in the last episode of season 5, she was trying to find a new job, but unfortunately Blair ruined everything (I hated her most of the time, this season!). As I previously said, I'd love to see her as a succesful and, most importantly, happy businesswoman. If love comes across, it will be even better, but I just want see her happy, she deserves it.

@Elisa I saw about this Serena's information and i really hope that this "major new love interest" would be a job. I hope that Serena find her talent. she needs find herself for don't loose yourself anymore. And a real job would do she feel stronger.

Thank you TV Fanatic for allowing me that after the third attempt to write what I intended. You see that is no big deal!

Notwithstanding anything in the last month told the actors Blake and Penn, I think at the end of season 6 love between Serena and Dan has to win and that the two are happy together! Otherwise it would be a stupidity!

Question for the TV Fanatic, why not allow to write the names of actors Blake and Penn in the comment together?

As usual @ Elisa I agree with you! And I read the spoiler Ausiello has written, so I wrote that might be too early to Chuck and Blair get married at the beginning of season 6. The very name of episode 6x01 evokes more to the fate of Serena! Of course the dealer who was on the train with Serena does not match the allegation that gave Ausiello, but why would there be a new guest actor in the series came at the end of season 5? Also, I think Ausiello answered the rhetorical question, and that he himself still does not know what will happen with Serena (alluding to the role of Blake in the movie Savages)! Thanks for the information that today starts filming season 6! I think at the end of season 6 love between Serena and Dan has to win and that the two are happy together! Otherwise it would be a stupidity!

Ah, @Zoran, I just remembered that I read this spoiler, also by Ausiello!

"Question: Seeing as how Gossip Girl is starting filming very soon, have you got any new info you can share with us? —Danielle
Ausiello: Things are looking up for the drug-addled, friendless basket case that is Serena: I’m hearing she’ll be getting a major new love interest for the sixth and final season — one with the potential to sweep her off her feet and ride her… off into the sunset. What did you think I was going to say?"

Who may this guy be? Dan? Nate? The drug dealer? Someone else? October, come soon!

@Zoran, mmm... I don't know, I still think that a Chair wedding is more likely to happen. Ausiello says: "just when a pair of its well-liked lovebirds were heading for a reunion, too. Now I hear that, when the show returns this fall, it’ll pick up right where it left off and pleasantly surprise fans by immediately marrying off the star-crossed couple in question."... Serena and that guy don't fit in this description, don't you think? I also think that it may be too rushed, but they have to get married, sooner or later!
I agree with you about the fact that Georgina will find Serena, more than Blair. And, if Georgina is involved, maybe even Dan could be!
Tomorrow filming finally starts, so we'll have the chance to get some spoilers!
