Mark Pellegrino to Guest Star on Grimm

Mark Pellegrino on Grimm? Sounds about right, doesn't it?

The creepy actor (Lost, The Closer, Being Human, Supernatural) will appear on a season two episode of this NBC drama as Jarold Kempfer, a high school friend of Hank’s whose daughter goes missing.

As you might expect with Pellegrino, however, the character won't exactly be your average human being. TV Line confirms the star will portray a coyotl, or coyote-like creature.

@Dan - And we all know SUPERNATURAL began its run by copying THE X-FILES, BUFFY: THE VAMPIRE SLAYER & ANGEL, which was co-created by David Greenwalt, who created GRIMM. So, we're back to square one. FYI, there are many viewers of GRIMM who have never seen SUPERNATURAL or previous genre shows. If you want to claim plot originality for any genre show on tv, you're out of luck. They all harken back to Greek mythology along with the epic poems of Homer, THE ILIAD and THE ODYSSEY.

To be fair - and I thought this exact thought before I even read the comments - just when I saw what he'd play and looked back up at his face - there probably aren't a lot of actors whose faces look slightly ... animal ... even when not in Wesen form. Many of them have a certain look that already embodies a little of the Wesen personality - Monroe does, his girlfriend does, he looks a little like the Coyotl, the cute little mouse/rat guys do. So, while I haven't watched the other show, but I do know this guy as a niche actor, that could very well be a factor. There are certain actors you hire when you want a certain part - and that list is small :).

I don't think Grimm is copying anyone... Mark just another good actor who's looking for a job... and I did loved Mark in Being Human...and i'm sure he will be wonderful in Grimm...

come on , it's gonna be fun having Mark in Grimm.and I'm happy other shows are copying Supernatural!

Grimm just can't stop copying Supernatural, who's guest starring next? Jim Beaver? Misha Collins? Come on!
