Im so excited to see elena and damon get closer. Watching there scenes are my favorite thing about TVD. They have so much chemistry. I even like them better than edward and belle from twilight. Im also excited to see stefan and caroline become better friends and hopefully lovers. I think there is alot of people over stelena. They are so boring together. All in all Im super excited for season 4 and more delena scenes. oh and I cant forget love the fact elena is a vampire now. Maybe she will have a little more life to her.
In my opinion julie plec knows what shes doing. So everyone needs to stop hating!!
So ready for october!!!!!

they are setting up for the eventual relationship between stefan and caroline so that when damon and elena get together stefan will have a love interest ready for him. they will have to be careful though not many will like it........

wow, I'm surprised at all the hatey responses. I love this show, and yeah, they do just throw something from left field when they need a new plot line, but, how else would they survive if they Didn't do that? I never really cared for Bonnie however, and i do think its silly that all these kids dont have parents until it matters BUT its TV, and give it a break, its 45 min of awesome yum and fun and I love it. I think last season towards the end really rocked, there were some emotional and strong episodes there. I love all of this show. And you know these "glimpses" of ideas are not the big wows. They will be throwing stuff at us we wouldnt guess, so Im not concerned. these are just the basic paths that they will ride, but not the actual story. Side note, i like caroline and klaus.

Julie Plec is SO dumb! What spark? Caroline and Stefan BARELY interacted with each other, in fact I don't think Caroline gave two shits about Stefan! And why does EVERYTHING and EVERYONE have to revolve around Elena!? I'm tired of this boring flat character! If Tyler or Caroline are ever killed as in permanently written off then I'm done with the show!

The whole idea in season4 sucks, must Elena become a vampire for the movie to b interesting? Elena and Stefen were such a lovely pair even if he was a vampire. I thought the storyline in season3 was Demon, Elena and every1 fighting to bring Stefan back to his normal self so Elena could be haPpy again? So what happened to that story as the original plan? Must Demon date Elena to make the movie interesting? I think the whole script is pretty messed up cause there re a lot going on there that needs to be fix and not Elena and Demon, Stefen and Caro. What then happens to Kluse? And Tyler a hybrid? When will Jer ever come back home and have a normal life like every growing kid does? Tyler was a perfect fit for Caro, there should be how he will scale through being a hybrid, and Stefen back to Elena again, and everyone happy at the end.
I can't wait for Elena to get with Damon they suit each other I don't get why Damon wont just give up chasing after Elena because when it gets to a choice in the en she will still go for Stefan.
I really like the idea of Elena being a vampire but who's blood did the doctor use to cure Elena and turn her into a vampire.
An upside to all this is that Damon finally got his Princess of Darkness. Can't wait for season 4.

Damon and Caroline should teach elena how to be a vamp because a bloodaholic is not a good teacher damon and caroline can control there selves unless damon gets mad but still he uses blood bags and alchol stefan+caeoline=catasyrophic diaster elena / damon+caroline=controlable vampire elena
Katherine needs to come back this season bevause doppleganger vampires going against each other for damon is spmething i would really watch
No stefan and caroline cause they didnt even have any type of realtionship in any seasons so no them

So this basically tells me that Caroline and Stefan are probably going to get together. Elena will move closer to Damon thus pushing Stefan towards his friend Caroline of course. I understand Delena needs to happen but she should have just picked him. Not going to be happy one bit if Tyler ends up dying but I see that coming.
So Elena's feelings are going to 'continue to evolve' for Damon? She's been to hell and back with Damon, and she still hasn't figured out how she feels about him? Elena has got to be the most emotionally stunted person on earth.
I get dragging out the Delena thing, but it's been THREE SEASONS. And now we are walking into Season 4 with the super boring Elena/Stefan thing again? AGAIN? Haven't we done that like a million times?
I love this show, but my biggest criticism has to be the complete lack of movement with Elena's feelings. She like a piece of steel- no matter what hits her, it just seems to bounce off like nothing happened. Ugh so annoying. Yes, CAN'T WAIT for another season of Damon pining after a piece of cardboard.

Honestly, NONE of these "teases" catches my interest! Bored already :-(
Like so many said: it's the same thing all over again. Instead of Bonnie's mother, it's Bonnie's father now. Damon goes down the same road again and again. Elena will be torn between the brothers again. And Caroline will have another moment with Matt, after she had "moments" with Tyler and Klaus...
I just hope next season will be better than that!

I am happy to see Elana was finally turned into a vampire. It was a long time coming for a major change to her character. Hopefully, this season will bring Elana and Damon closer. Stephan's character is becoming a bit of a bore when it comes to Elana. So sad to see things with Tyler and Caroline coming to an end. They just seem a better match than her and Matt.

And does it mean that Damon is getting more whiny this season? Seriously Plec?! And that everyone is returning as a ghost is also getting boring...

As long as she keeps Caroline and Stefan as just friends I will be fine but I think he hooked up with Lexie at one point so if she wants them to be Stexie 2.0 then that means they will hook up.
I liked Caroline and Matt so I am happy to see them have a moment. However if Caroline hooks up with Stefan that will be to guys that have dated Elena that Caroline will have gone after.

As obsessed as he was in the first season, at least he was snarky badass anti-hero, season two and onwards he deteriorated into a crybaby wimp who could not do anything without "loves of his life" saying something. .

Plec did acknowledge that Damon has grown over three seasons, saying he has done terrible things in the "name of love, pain, abandonment, self-preservation, survival and family" and that "he's going to keep evolving and Elena's feelings for him are going to continue to evolve."
Are you kidding me? Damon has grown? He went from being obsessed with Katherine to being obsessed with Elena. He still treats people like crap and acts like a 17yearold every time Elena turns him down...finding a one night stand and drinking, that's not character development that's degradation of character.

Ok, thats not how you do things...although I enjoy Stefan and Caroline's friendship, but Caroline barely had any interaction with Stefan this season..I mean, yes, she is definitively his Lexie 2.0. but this what Plec talks about would only work if Caroline was there all the time he was acting like a total ass, basically telling him, dude, get your shit together...and what annoys me even more its like the main reason they will interact next season will be because of Elena...as if its physically impossible for any character on this show to have a relationship with someone if it does not revolve around Elena.

Well i loved the last episode very much but they made me cry when I saw Elena leaving Damon.:(
Will hope that there is something much more coming between those two.
I also loved the emotional drama between Damon and Alaric, seems that Elena is making Damon change, but the ending was like i again watched Twilight Breaking Dawn. They should have change the ending of the season.
