I'm going with the majority here: Miss Dobrev for the wildcard. She's absolutely fantastic, and incredibly versatile. In the end, I'd love to see it come down to Dobrev vs. Somerhalder, but then I'd have no idea who to vote for.
While I'm here though, don't say Ian is a bad actor. If you actually follow the show and speak to the fans, you'd realize that the reason he's most people's favorite TVD man because his acting as Damon can pretty much bring you to your knees (NOT because he's attractive). Damon is possibly the most empathized character on his show. He can make huge mistakes and then be perfectly selfless a few moments later, and it is Ian's perfectly nuanced performance that brings this dynamic and devastating character to life.

As for Nina Dobrev. I vote her as the wild card!
Some people have started to dislike Elena in vampire diaries which is fair enough however hat doesn't mean Nina Dobrev doesn't deserve a spot in this! She is very talented, playing different roles one the same TV show and making each character different and diverse. Yes, Elena wasn't the most interesting to watch for some (not me included) but she is a very talented actress just like Candice Accola!
Is this about who's hotter or who is the better actor??
Scott Porter hands down is the more versatile more enjoyable actor to watch. Jason Street? Blake Calamar on the Good Wife? George Tucker?

not everyone loves vamp diaries yes i watch it but there is miles better tv shows out there i prefer true blood myself

Another reason to not watch the CW, Maggie Q is the only person of color in the poll. Where is the diversity in the Polls and on the shows. One would think more diversity would bring more viewers to the network, Marketing 101, IMHO.

Nina Dobrev is a severely underrated actress. My goodness, in one episode she played 1492 human-baby birthin' Katherine, 1492 coquette Katherine, present-day Katherine, and Elena -- and the present-day Katherine and Elena scenes were opposite herself. She is AMAZING.
Definitely wildcard. I still can't believe she wasn't on the list.
