Mark Consuelos Checks in to American Horror Story

Add another name to the American Horror Story Season 2 cast.
Mark Consuelos (All My Children, husband of Kelly Ripa) has landed a role on the FX thriller. According to Entertainment Weekly, the former soap opera star will portray a patient at the mental institution where Jessica Lange's character works.
No other details on the role are available at the moment.
Aside from Lange, Consuelos joins a very long list of impressive actors/actresses on Season 2 that include James Cromwell, Joseph Fiennes, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, Zachary Quinto, Adam Levine, Chloe Sevigny, and Lizzie Brochere.
Look for new episodes to kick off in October and for the rebooted series to be based in the 1960s.
