Revenge Season Two: A Terrible Event, A Relationship Rekindled, A SWF Mother
Let's get right to it: Revenge Season 2 will kick off with a tragedy.
That's what executive producer Mike Kelley tested today during a set visit to the ABC series as part of the Television Critics Association Summer Press Tour.
"We open with a flash-forward to the end of summer, again, and a terrible event that occurs, then we bring the audience back to the start of the summer," Kelley told those on hand.
Previously, Kelley had teased that a wedding would be the season opening event.
Among other major facts, tidbits and spoilers revealed:
- One "very important" character will learn Emily's true identity as Amanda.
- A female - yes, female - love interest will soon be cast for Nolan.
- Barry Sloane's character will explore who "Emily was when she was turning into Emily Thorne," said Kelly, adding that this mystery man's relationship with our heroine ended in "volatile" fashion when they were younger.
- Daniel and Ashley WILL be involved on Season 2, but Kelley classifies their relationship as "lustful' and says Daniel's conscience will "still guilt-ridden because of his mother."
- By the end of the season, Grayson Global will feel the effects of the economy.
- Kelley simply could not believe Jennifer Jason Leigh was available and interested in playing Emily's mother. He gushed: She can do Single White Female all over this show! We’ll take it!”
Revenge moves to Sundays and will premiere on September 30.

Jack and Emily need to get together and Jack needs to be the one who really finds out who Amanda really is.
Jack would keep the Amanda alive in Emily. Emily was so hurt at the end of the season.

I hope its Charlotte that finds out about Amanda, because to be fair she deserves to know who shes related to since she was lied to about who her father was all her life.
So so so excited for Nolans new love interest.
Is it wrong that I kinda ship Dashley?

Show is great and I love most of American series. Just hope they will show season 2 in my country.

OHhhhhhh I'm in love with is show and really look forward to it!!! I hope it's Amanda's wedding that and that she is killed off(wishful thinking) though she's also a really good character I feel for.
Oh, and yes, I'd also love to see Nolan's new romantic interest, since he is my favourite character on the show...

When does Revenge come back?? I can hardly wait, specially since someone's going to find out who Amanda really is! I'm hoping that's Charlotte (if she's still alive), or Jack (that'd give him something not to be so boring about). Anyhow, one thing that I love about the show is how they start up with one big event and what lead to it - I still remember how hyped up I was for "Chaos". It really builds expectations and makes that one particular episode a wild ride - even more than the other ones.

If you check the yahoo article for revenge2 it says that like S1 it'll start with a quote about destiny and that Daniel and Ashley are nothing serious because HE'S STILL HUNG UP ON EMILY.
