Sebastian Sozzi to Partner Up on Blue Bloods
Sebastian Sozzi and Michael Madsen have both landed roles on Blue Bloods Season 3.
Sozzi (pictured, My Generation) will appear on multiple episode of the CBS drama as Vinny Cruz, Jamie Reagan’s new partner. A network casting outline described the officer as "fast-talking and charismatic," hailing from one of the toughest precincts in New York.
Madsen, meanwhile, will guest star as a long-time criminal who seeks revenge on Donnie Wahlberg's Danny after getting out of jail.
Both actors will debut on the Blue Bloods October 5 premiere.

I was very shocked to see Jamie's partner killed last week. Why did they kill me off?

Hey, this a great show. I watch every one twice off the internet. Such an ensemble cast with terrific talent hasn't been put together since NYPD Blue. Scripts are great and realistic. The family theme is my favorite part of the show. Finally a family that is functional too. It can work when the family works together and not every family is without a moral compass. I do feel I must say some regrets...please don't put Renzulli out ot pasture. He's great. He brings so much New York to the show. He's a great actor to watch and he always brings his best game. He belongs with this cast...how about a new partner for him? Someone kinda like Jamie's mom? Let's see some cool similarities and have Jamie notice them and have Renzulli and his wife (who we never see) put it together for Jamie and better yet....let's have the lady cop be studying to be - YEP - a lawyer and eventually get a job with Jamie's sister in the D.A.s office! Anyway, thanks to all the actors for accepting reasona

Danny and Jamie are great but for me the main protagonist is Frank Reagan.Tom Selleck is one of my most favorite actors.He is the show's and the Reagan's family moral compass and focus.

I hope that if Jamie is getting a new partner that doesn't mean we won't see Renzulli, I thought he was great.

Sure hope this means that there will be more storylines coming up for Jamie - Blue Bloods is a great show, but seems to center more around Danny than anyone else. I know Danny has a lot of fans and is a good actor, but Jamie is a great character that really needs to be explored and has really been sort of left in the shadows of his older brother. I think this is a great move and am looking forward to seeing more of Will Estes (Jamie) in the coming season! Thanks CBS!!!!
