Criminal Minds Season 8: Who's Returning?
Featuring one new cast member and at least two anticipated returns, Criminal Minds kicks off Season 8 on Wednesday, September 26.
What can fans of the CBS drama expect from upcoming episodes? Producer Erica Messer shared the following scoops and spoilers with EW at last week's Television Critics Association press tour...
Jeanne Tripplehorn's Alex Blake will share a history with Strauss, one that dates to a case during which Strauss allowed Blake to take the blame when things went awry.
Bellamy Young will appear on at least three episodes as Beth, with Messer saying she and Hotchner will engage in a "long-distance relationship."
Someone from Hotchner's past, who viewers have seen before, will show up for an episode. That's the only tease we get for this storyline.

I find myself unable to get thru the hour with Stapplehorn on the show. She doesn;t work. Where is the other gal? She was perfect.

2012 new woman actress doesn't fit. I hope they replace her soon she is to much like Reid. What i like about crimnal minds is every character played a different role. well maybe it is just me thinking this way

I wish prentiss come back...the replace seems as if she compete with reid...it would be good to find another character...I think that's what causes criminal minds show so different than the other show like CSI etc

well i think they got it right this time with replacing prentiss. according to tv guide they say prentiss last season was her last. her contract was up and she decided not to renew it. very sad she is so great in the show. but i must say that jeanne triplehorn is a good pic to replace prentiss, the last time they tried to replace her they had seaver who was soo boring and no personality strong enough take the place of prentiss. i wish she did not want to renew her contract but she said she wants to try other things well i hope to see her on the show occasionally she was the best and i will miss her alot.

i hope prentis comes back, morgan and reid have that big brother little brother bond, and morgan and garcia continue there love thing :)
