Elena Gilbert as a Vampire: First Imprisoned Look!

by at . Comments

Non-spoiler alert: Elena Gilbert will transition into a member of the undead on The Vampire Diaries Season 4 premiere.

Actual spoiler alert: She'll be placed behind bars on that same episode.

TV Guide Magazine has published the first photo of the new Elena. Check it out below and get a glimpse at this bloodthirsty creature. Also, take note of her location. Who has her locked up? Her friends for her own protection, perhaps?

Elena as a Vampire

Nona Dobrev has said her character won't want to eat people simply because she's now a vampire, leaving her "hungry and moody." We can imagine!

Watch our interview with Dobrev at this summer's Comic-Con for more scoop from the actress and check out another Vampire Diaries premiere picture now.

For some reason I like how Elena looks on this photo, her hair I mean, cos really that needs to change, the girl needs a make-over ASAP! Even if that means just brushing hair into a different direction...yeah, what are we supposed be excited about here, again? Oh yeah, the vamp thing, well, knowing how this show deals with new vamps and how they feed - just stealing blood bags from the hospital...I don't really see a problem with anyone fearing Elena will attack someone...unlike Caroline whose transition was written incredibly well because the poor girl had no idea what was happening to her and I saw her psychological struggle and then physical struggle with bloodlust...Elena is gonna have it super easy..the Salvatores prob have like 500 years supply of bloodbags....so no worries, Elena ain;t gonna bite no one..

let Bored Now be Bored Now, the only thing I would change is his name. Cause he should be called Broken Record! ;) every post the same shit! The picture by itself doesn't reveal to much, so I guess Bonnie looked her :D

I don't know why anyone would waste their time reading and commenting on things they don't like, but its their time so whatever, you know, let them if they want, its not something worth arguing over.

I have to agree with Peachy. Bored Now, for someone who is not hapy with this show and has not been happy with this show for a while now, you spend a lot of time reading up on it and commeting about it. If you hate this show that much then why bother at all. Or do you just need to have your negative comments read. I don't get it.

To Bored Now: I have been reading your negativity on this site for a good while now. You must be terribly unhappy. Anyway, I have never thought of Elena as a replica of Twilight's Bella Swan. The two characters are very different! I like the actress, Nina Dobrev as well as the characters she plays (since she plays two characters: Katherine as well as Elena) which shows considerable talent as an actress! So, if you do not like the characters, just stop watching and expressing your jealousy of the character! Get a life and have a good day!

Four words: too little, too late. For three seasons, for 66 episodes, watching Elena has been more boring than watching a cardboard box. The S3 finale was touted as the character development episode for elena, and it failed majorly. Do they REALLY expect for people to start caring about miss cardboard bella swan now? To say that its a little too late for that would be understatement.

Vampire Diaries Quotes

You want a love that consumes you. You want passion and adventure, and even a little danger... I want you to get everything you're looking for. But for right now, I want you to forget that this happened. Can't have people knowing I'm in town yet. Goodnight, Elena.

Damon

Damon: You know what they are? Children. Like lighting a candle's going to make everything OK, or even saying a prayer. Or pretending Elena's not going to end up just like the rest of us murdering vampires. Stupid, delusional, exasperating little children. And I know what you're going to say: 'It makes them feel better, Damon.' So what? For how long? A minute, a day? What difference does it make? Because in the end, when you lose somebody, every candle, every prayer is not going to make up for the fact that the only thing you have left is hole in your life where that somebody that you cared about used to be. And a rock with a birthday carved into it that I'm pretty sure is wrong. So thanks, friend. Thanks for leaving me here to babysit. Because I should be long gone by now. I didn't get the girl, remember? I'm just stuck here fighting my brother and taking care of the kids. You owe me big.
Alaric: I miss you too, buddy.
