Suits Recruits Jon Foster, Seeks Father for Rachel
Suits will not return to finish off Season 2 until January.
But USA has offered up a couple intriguing casting scoops to tide fans over until then.
FIRST, Jon Foster (Accidentally on Purpose) will guest star on an upcoming episode as Trent Devon, described by The Hollywood Reporter as a "social media wunderkind" whose company is about to go public.
Remind you of any real-life, hooded sweartshirt-wearing individuals?

SECOND, we'll soon meet Rachel's father!
Suits is casting for this high-powered New York attorney, who will serve as Harvey's opposing council on a major case. Look for Harvey to ask Rachel to sit in on depositions for it in order to distract her father, with whom she has a distant relationship.

Rachel Meghan Markle, the actress, was born and was raised in Los Angeles, California.
Her mother is African American and her father is Dutch-Irish
Fathers and daughters should, at the very least resemble each other. Jimmy Smits is a bit of a stretch.

John Beasley should play Rachel's father. Strong, powerful, wise looking and worldly looking man. Has the stage presence of a professor. He has played in various movies and TV shows, mostly as a decorated Military veteran. Currently playing the role of a retired preacher on the TV Land sitcom, Soul Man with Cedric The Entertainer. He also looks like he could be her real father. (See: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0064040/)

James Woods would be great. Would love to see him up against Harvey.

I agree with Michelle - Jimmy Smits.

I think John Shea would be a great choice to play Rachel's dad. They kind of look like they'd be related and John has a strong enough presence to play a "high-powered New York attorney". IMHO
