Carla Gugino as Christian Grey? Only in the world of New Girl.

Entertainment Weekly confirms that the veteran actress, most recently seen on USA's Political Animals, will recur on Season 2 of the Fox comedy in an especially seductive role.

Gugino will portray Emma, Schmidt's new boss... and lover.

In fact, the magazine describes her character as having a "Fifty Shades of Grey" type relationship with everyone's favorite Jewish roommate. Look for Emma to actually make Schmidt signed a contract that binds the pair together.

The beautiful star will appear in three episodes, starting with the season's seventh.

New Girl, which returns with two installments on September 25, also recently cast Maria Thayer as Nick's ex-girlfriend.
