The Vampire Diaries "Memorial" Synopsis: A New Threat in Town

at . Comments

He's almost here, Vampire Diaries fans. A new vampire hunter who Paul Wesley told me will be far more skilled than Alaric and far more dangerous than any previous threat to our favorite blood suckers' existence.

Indeed, on October 18, residents of Mystic Falls will be introduced to Todd Williams as Connor Jordan.

What can we expect from the character and the episode "Memorial" in general? The CW has released its official synopsis...

Stefan and Caroline

Elena tries to cope with the extreme highs and lows that are part of becoming a vampire, and Stefan and Damon almost come to blows while arguing about what is best for her.  Damon decides to help Elena in his own way and asks her not to tell Stefan.

A stranger, Connor Jordan, arrives in town and begins questioning Sheriff Forbes and Mayor Lockwood. Connor’s actions quickly convince Stefan that they are dealing with a dangerous vampire hunter.

Jeremy and Matt are surprised to see a girl they used to know, April, has returned to town and is enrolling at Mystic Falls High. At a town gathering, Elena comes close to losing control until Caroline steps in to help her.

Finally, Damon confides his feelings to an unexpected friend.

I love how people read the spoilers/synopsis and then complain about how they got too much information. Don't read it then, and if you do, don't complain. It was your choice, no one forced you to.

@Fruit Salad To be fair its the episode synopsis & not a spoiler, its an unusually long synopsis though.& I guess we knew all along that Elena WILL turn into a vampire despite their efforts.I guess they have now shifted the suspence to what will Bonnie lose while trying to save her & who is gonna die & whose blood Elena gonna drink to complete her transition. What i find interesting is although it is giving too much information,it still hasnt mentioned Tyler/Klaus & Caroline & Stefan & whatever they are doing to him in the picture.

So Damon's going to be crying, again. Damon and Elena working together, again. Damon and Stefan fighting, again. Please move on I'm so tired of the entire show being about Damon crying over Elena. Give me back the strong bada-ss Damon who lived to sleep with gorgeous women, drank and beat people just because he wanted to. This passive whimp Damon is sooooooo BORING. I want my Season 1 Damon.

Fruit salad

Oh, so now all the suspense around 'Will she complete the transition, or die? Will Bonnie succeed?', which they've been hyping ever since the finale, is gone. She completed it. Okay, good, glad I won't have to speculate or feel excited. Spoilers are supposed to give us HINTS about what might happen, to make us excited. Not to give us a plot summary.

The Vampire Diaries Season 4 Episode 2 Quotes

Damon: You know what they are? Children. Like lighting a candle's going to make everything OK, or even saying a prayer. Or pretending Elena's not going to end up just like the rest of us murdering vampires. Stupid, delusional, exasperating little children. And I know what you're going to say: 'It makes them feel better, Damon.' So what? For how long? A minute, a day? What difference does it make? Because in the end, when you lose somebody, every candle, every prayer is not going to make up for the fact that the only thing you have left is hole in your life where that somebody that you cared about used to be. And a rock with a birthday carved into it that I'm pretty sure is wrong. So thanks, friend. Thanks for leaving me here to babysit. Because I should be long gone by now. I didn't get the girl, remember? I'm just stuck here fighting my brother and taking care of the kids. You owe me big.
Alaric: I miss you too, buddy.

You better hope she's not a fan of Bambi.
