American Idol Season 12: First Promo!
You may have heard an awful lot about Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj and their feud and the new American Idol judging table in general over the past few weeks.
But Fox has come out with the first promo for Season 12 and it features nary a panelist. Instead, it focuses on the journey of Phillip Phillips, last season's winner and the first champion in years to have truly sustained success.
His single "Home" was featured during the Summer Olympics and he sang the national anthem during this year's Major League Baseball playoffs.
Watch the promo now and set that DVR: American Idol returns on January 16.

They should have never hired Nicki Minaj ........ she will bring nothing to the judges table........she's not a music professional with extensive experience..............
