Back to liking what the reviewer hates. lol Great action show that does not get drug down by the personal lives of the characters. An no woman needs to be cast as a firefighter The lady emt people were great. This was better than I expected. Sure hope they don't mess it up. Action tv. Yesssssss.

So far i'm not impressed..the only characters with "personality" are the new guy(Mills) and the Chief! But i will give it a few more chances!

It's almost impossible to develop all of the characters in the first show.....give them time to develop. Heck, with Rookie Blue it took more than one season! I think it has potential, especially the abuse of pain killers by a major player.

@Nick: Oh I see. But still, I'd like it better if they are just lurking by and not getting their own 'cases' like the shooting thing. But I'll be definitely tuning in for the adrenaline lol.

EMT and Paramedic servies are quickly being incorporated under firefighter "services" because fires are less and less common place.
I love Taylor Kinney. But this just screams "Trauma" (a show way before about paramedics, heck starring Taylor as well) but different 'route'. I really don't like any of the female characters. Why are we getting EMTs on a show about firefighters? They could have cast different female characters as romantic interest or daughters or something. I'm just not into the ladies/EMTs.

i wanted to like this show because it reminded me so much of THIRD WATCH, but the characters are not that interesting. and i hate that none of the female character are actual firefighters.
