@christine hit the nail on the head! blair was right in her speech to serena about always saving her yet when she needs help (case in point to be the model of her show) where is she? in the arms of some man she is using to mask her severe daddy issues. that will have to be my favourite scene and line of episode because it led to the chair reference.
S always has this notion that everyone should owe her because her father abandoned her BOO HOO move on its boring me! blaming blair and everyone in the UES for her mistakes is childish, she's the one who keeps on going after older men, od, being involved in the wrong scene...how is that their fault.
Hating Blair's transformation from the mature girl who finally grew up back to her stupid scheming self in highschool. You don't just undo character development! This totally ruins how much she matured last season.
So over Serena. She needs to get off her high horse. Blair can bring her down, I don't mind. She doesn't deserve Blair.

This is what I had in mind, Chuck's real father is Jack, and that's the big secret that Bart is hiding.
If the Derena wedding is a foiler, then Danelly is fine with me. I like Nelly, she brings much Season 1 air in the series. I also have strong feeling that Nelly is Gossip Girl.
Season 6 so far - it's not completely down for me, but it's not up either at this point. Can uncle Jack come to town please? Then I'll be in.
Endgame predictions - Chair wedding will happen and that sweet mini-Chuck, as Leigh called him, will happen too. Derena will NOT happen, because it doesn't make sense anymore. If they go down that road, it will be so out of nowhere, I just hate the idea. Nate will end up happy, successful and Sage-free. Steven can stay, I don't mind him. Rufus, Lily and Bart don't interest me anymore. And Dan will see the light, otherwise I don't care what happens to him.
Favourite quote/scene - I don't really have one. I loved "GG" in the good old days, but it was a long time ago. I guess the most interesting scene this week was when Nate confronted Dan.
Dan going dark - Humphrey is a total asshole, that much is obvious. I'm officially done with him. When Nate said he wants to hit him, I was like: YES, DO IT!
Harder to believe - both. But I honestly can't believe B and S didn't see that coming. I mean, come on! And Sage needs to die. She's only taking precious screen time. Such a waste.
More uncomfortable couple - why Nate wants to be with Sage is beyond me, but Rufus and Ivy make me sick. Rufus is so ridiculously stupid, I can't even comment on that.
What will Blair and Chuck find? I don't care as long as they stop being ridiculous and just be together, because this whole thing is getting seriously boring.

and in this episode blair helping out serena blew up in her face again blair doesn't now sage so she couldn't have known what she was going to do but serena should of had a guess she was up to something

i think when blair was asking for serena what she said was so true it seems like every time she was in trouble blair was number 1 to help serena so her whole attitude so far towards blair i am so over and what blair said to her in the final she deserved everything was her fault and how many times is blair going to put up with the fact serena always thinks she has good reason for what happen

I loved Dan in this episode because he's the guy that always get kick on it about time he get some. But i do hope by the end of this season Dan go back to how he was in the beginning. Also i do hope that the pictures that got out of Chuck and Blair getting married is not true not only because I'm a Dan and Blair fan but it would be the most boring ending ever. But I have a feeling that they are true because I've kinda giving up on the show to be good anymore.

Honestly I've never seen so much idiocy in my life! DAN AND SERENA ARE GOING TO HAPPEN!
The writing and the pictures are all over the effing net! And not just the wedding photos!!:
- A synopsis of an upcoming episode details Serena and Dan becoming close again
- There are PICTURES of the two of them happy towards one another
- They're redo-ing the effing elevator scene!! The scene that split them apart for so long!
Let's not be dense!

Yikes, Rufus and Ivy are just plain gross, but Nate and Sage make me uncomfortable--not only because she is a teenager in high school and he is an adult, but because her acting is terrible and her character is pretty lame! I have never been a fan of Dan or understood why people want him and Serena back together. They make absolutely no sense anymore, they are not the same people as season one. I only wish the writer would make her a little bit more likable again. She and Blair totally need to be friends again. I want the NJBC working together.

I watch gossip girl since the beginning and i'm gonna watch it until the end.
But,
WTF? How the writers screw every people on the show like that?!
Serena the pseudo grown up girl, Blair became the weak and needy one, Nate, beside beign irrelevant, is sleeping with an underage girl, and the father didn't say a thing that her daughter go to her boyfriend's appartement at midnight? Chuck daddy issues, who cares? Dan was my favorite character, but how they made him become such a douchebag? Rufus, grow a pair.
I'm so disappointed right now.

I Love Dan,cause he a poor guy that fall in Love always and the women treat him wrong,Serena always ledt Dan for another men all through their relationship,and she always come back,She is just like her mom,As for Blaire I think Dan fall so in love with her,He thought she was the one.As for Chair i dont think he and Balire even belong together.He manupulate Nate on Blaire and i think he been doing that all along.Blaire belong to Dan.He been the all along for her,even when she never knew him.I am proud of Dan destroying everybody and going dark,It was the book he should have write at the start.I am champion Dan in this whole stroy.cause he is the character most poor guy and nice guy can relate to.He the best Dan Humphrey and all the Humphrey are smart and make their way up with their brian and idea.

Nate should have hit Dan. What he did was horrible. I can barely stand him at this point. I miss the old, loveable Dan. Sure he went through some hardships, but so did everyone else. Deal with it and move on. As for Sage... she has got to go. I thought this season was going to focus on the core characters??? So far I don't see that. Thumbs down for me because I expected so much more.

Throughout the years Chuck humiliated Blair in far worse ways than Dan did Serena and many more times at that, yet so many people drool over the prospect of Chair, but sincerely believe Dan does not deserve Serena. Are most commentators here from the lower social classes?

1. Nelly Yuki asking Dan to move in with her. How sad is it that Danellyuki is the most interesting couple this season?
2. Long over due. Danellyuki all the way!
3. Sage playing S&B. Fashion shows are way more risque than that, and the models are younger.
4. Nage! It's just 'Ewwww!'.
5. Deep down this isn't really about taking down Bart Bass or Blair making a success of EWD. This is about recreating the "mind-blowing" Monte Carlo experience after months (years?) of abstenance. I couldn't care less about whatever they find out about Bart, and EWD will be successful when Blair hires Jenny Humphrey to be head designer.
6. I can give it half of one thumb at this point, primarily for the new set design of EWD. It's giving me ideas for my sewing room.
7. Chair; Serenate; Danellyuki; Eric, Carter or Lola are GG; Jenny becomes head designer at EWD; Rufus dumps Ivy.

Even if they are going to do a 5 year time jump in the finale, it won't make sense anyway. I think their relationship has been ruined too far to happen again. They were amazing in S1, but now THEY AREN'T. They are toxic and they bring out the worst out of each other. I can't believe they will end up together. Please let those be foilers.

I wouldn't be that surprised if Nelly Yuki was in fact GG
She always tried to fit in and she never could, so GG could be a way for her to destroy their world.
Also, don't you ever notice that GG NEVER mentions Nelly Yuki...ever!?
And was it me or did Nelly Yuki look like she liked Dan and got let down when he left her for that chick who bought him a drink...

Somebody commented that Nelly Yuki is so Gossip Girl, YES! That's what I think too after the Nelly and Dan scene earlier. Her sympathy is with Dan, plus Nelly is a writer and GG is one too. Very high possibility. . . If not I think it would be Scott (Lily+Rufus lovechild), seems the Humphreys are literary creatures.
Have you noticed Dan's striped sweatshirt and olive khaki pants? So hot! So 2013! I always like Dan's fashion even he's being a douche since Season 5.
