Falling Skies

All hail Stephen Collins!

According to TV Guide Magazine, the veteran actor (No Ordinary Family, Private Practice) will guest star on Falling Skies Season 3 in an especially powerful role: Benjamin Hathaway, the President of the United States at the time of the alien invasion.

Collins - whose character is described as "charismatic" and who has been forced into combat like everyone else - will appear on the fourth episode of next summer.

Look for Hathaway to be based out of Colorado and have an urge to meet Noah Wyle's Tom Mason in order to understand his alien-destroying strategies.

The TNT drama has also cast Robert Sean Leonard and Gloria Reuben in major Season 3 roles. The show returns with new episodes in mid-2013.
