Also, hands down the best realization I made after the episode: Damon's blood turned Elena and, thanks to their whole 'vampire bloodline' plot that came out of nowhere, that means that he can't die. If Damon dies, Elena does too by blood connection, and you can't kill the main character. So, this means Damon is safe, does it not? Random crazy idea here, but my last random crazy idea was Elena turning into a vampire to kill Darklaric so I'll throw this one out there too: is it possible for Elena and Damon to have some sort of blood connection since his blood turned her? Would this interfere with her choice of Stefan?

Just remembered what I wanted to put in my original review.
Every time Elena says she doesn't want to be a vampire, I always think: then why are you dating one? If she saw herself growing old and having children, why does her life revolve around two VAMPIRE brothers who ARE immortal? What did she expect? That she could grow old and Stefan/Damon would keep hanging around, youthful as ever? There was no realistic way she could stay human and still maintain a relationship with a vampire. There was also no way she could have children with either one of them, so how would that work out? If she wasn't planning on being a vampire she should have let them BOTH go as soon as she knew that, because there's no way for that to work unless she changes (which she thankfully now has).
Also, hands down the best realization I made after the episode: Damon's blood turned Elena and, thanks to their whole 'vampire bloodline' plot that came out of nowhere, that means that he can't die. If Damon dies, El

OK episode. Elena finally transitioned, so her friends can stop trying to prevent her from transitioning. Plus her blood is not longer useful to Klaus and he can't make more hybrids. The love triangle is way overdone; it just ends up cheapening of Elena's relationship with either brother. I just want her to make a decision and set one of them free. I don't care who I'm also starting to dislike Damon, who keeps behaving like a childish brat; the scene where he tried to kill Matt just showed how little he's changed. I'm still not interested in Klaus. no matter, no matter what body he's in. Plus if Bonnie is so powerful, why can't she figure out a spell to double-cross Klaus?
Bonnie losing herself to the dark magic was heartbreaking to watch. What makes absolutely no sense, is that Bonnie was willing to sacrifice everything to prevent Elena from becoming a vampire, but didn't try the same for her own mother? I don't get why Elena's life is so much more important than the lives o

4/ Happy that both Tyler and Klaus are back to their bodies.
5/And now my best parts of the show are Elena's transitioning reactions especially her laugh-crying scene , the remembering scene ( it was really beautiful ), Damon's impulsive and crazy actions (trying to kill Rebekha & Matt ) and for sure the conversation between Damon & Elena after her escape: that's my faverite scene even that I didn't like Elena's insensitivity toward Damon but I believe that it had a huge impact on her and on the way she used to see and think about Damon. (amazing job by Ian Samerhalder & Nina Dobrev)

Part 2:
2/ loved Stefan & Elena's scene when she told him about the reason for her being in the bridge ( I disagree with her though ) it was a nice moment.
3/ Loved Rebekha & klaus' scene, it was so emotional. I felt really sorry for her realising that her brother that she loved after everything he has done and that she mourned is alive and all he cared about was saving the girl he love and leaving her to die. Plus after this scene I'm sure than ever that Klaus has a major issue toward the definition of family. How can he have a family that he doesn't care about and want to create a family of hybrids?

Welcome Back TVD !!!
1st of all, I want to say that I loved this episode and in my opinion it was what it should've been even that I have problem to get Bonnie's twist although I loved the ritual scene and Jeremy's reaction ( love that kid ) and I would've loved to see how Elena, Stefan & Rebekah have maneged to escape.
Back to what I loved:
1/ I loved the headline of TVD feature: it was really beautiful, special and refreshing ( well done ).
oooh myyyy gooood bonnie has to go!! i am soo frustrated with this character it's killing me! and btw they're really gonna have to do something about the so called triangle cause i feel sick every time stefan and elena vow to be together and that crap. delena has to happen,it just does.

I loved the intro, it was perfect. I found the episode to be lacking only because they had so many things going on and not enough time to put everything in. I should just be satisfied that the writers are considerate enough to tie everything up before jumping into the next BIG thing. I think Elena is the selfish one, she always has to have it her way, if Stefan won't give her want she wants, she will run to Damon

Even if Michael Trevino was good in Klaus shoes, you gotta love some JoMo. Speaking of Klaus, that’s one thing I don’t really get. He saved Caroline, because I guess in some way if likes her, that’s okay and kind of nice I guess. He didn’t free Rebekah to gain time and liberty of movement, that’s also ok. But what I don’t get is why he was so mean to his sister. Trust me, I am more than open to Klaroline but I find it hard to believe he would be nicer to her than to his own sister. I’ve got to say, Claire Holt’s Rebekah almost broke my heart. I love her more and more! It was nice to see her with Stefan and Elena in the cells and Caroline in the van. I would love to see my two favorites blondes to bound. I guess we’ll see her join the Salvatore side and it will be a struggle to see herself accepted since she’s the one who caused the car accident! But if you ask me, it one more reason to be enthousiastic about the whole thing.

I agree, he wasn’t trying very hard to hide himself, speaking as he always does. just wish when they bring Delena, they do it a way I can actually buy Elena's love for him.
In the same way, I didn't like at all Stefan's comment to Matt, not at all!!! But for me Damon's behavior was still way worse, despite what some people who blame Stefan's words ( rightfully) but don't blame Damon because it is who Damon is, bla bla, say. I don't like the fact that Damon changed, not because he changed, but because he did it only concerning toward Elena... Yes, the switch is on, he can love and be badass at the same time, but seing him without any consideration for human life, still deciding to kill only because he's angry just put me off a character I love...

I think the writers handled very well the whole Stefan/Elena/Damon triangle and Elena’s choice. Of course she had to stick with it (it’s only been a day!) and I hope she will stay with Stefan at least for a little while so it can give “her choice” a real impact and look like a real stand out from Elena, because as Damon said it himself, she’s made so many “choices”, changes of hearts in all her uncertain mind last season that it would be good to see her affirm herself. And what’s even better in their storyline is that they did address her coming-back memories of Damon, without pushing it too hard. I found the scene in her bedroom lovely. Nice touch! And I’m obviously relieved, and I guess I am not the only one, that Elena didn’t have a sudden change of heart because she just remembered she met Damon first, ppfffioouuu! On the town council twist: bring it on!! I was very enthusiast until I saw that pastor blow everyone out. I hope they won’t bring them as ghost! Please, please, don’t! However, I guess the whole council wasn’t there and they could blame the blow on the town vampires, which would led to an openly human/vampire conflict. It’s an interesting twist other than a big villain and I’m curious to see it develop. The now ex-Sherriff Forbes and ex-mayor Lockwood as allies also brings more to it! Great! They are not enough parents present for this supernatural but still teenager children.

Also, Stefan got to be with the one he loved - Catherine.. while Damon loses out in both centuries.. sort of unfair. Again, Damon loves Elena more... nobody, no matter how noble they are, is going to allow the love of their life to die (i.e. in the case of Elena and Matt's car accident). True love is obviously selfish. You want that person to yourself at all costs and are willing to make the most insane sacrifices... sure, Stefan could have perceived that allowing Matt to die could have destroyed Elena, but it easily could have destroyed Matt too since he was the one driving and whatnot. And, from initial Stefan's knowledge, at least one of the them (Elena and Matt) would have died anyways. Both Elena and Matt could have been ready to die in the sense that they both lost loved ones and wanted to potentially see them in the spirit realm/"the other side". It had to end up this way though anyways.. pretty unfair to everybody who's lives have been ultimately ruined by Elena's existence, wh

I think the council explosion is going to have something to do with the witches. They are probably going to come back somehow stronger or more able to defeat the vampires. As for Bonnie, would love to see her be relevant to the plot either as a regular human being w/o powers (or hardly using them/being used all the time for them) or as a super witch who doesn't necessarily turn to dark magic... or maybe she can, but it would have to be a pretty awesome script bearing significance to the plot! If the writers can achieve this, it would definitely be great for the show and likely attract all the magic-loving viewers who were distraught by the cancellation of the Secret Circle. As for Alaric, don't really know or understand why people are so saddened by his loss.. his candle-light vigil wasn't even that sad to begin with (and was way overplayed since he came back the same night anyways; only as his darker side).. esp since he was always sort of boring.. good guy, but overall boring and har

Disliked the Bonnie scenes, but otherwise a good episode. I think Elena's transition was shown very well. Not sure what Damon meant by that's not all Elena remembers...also, I miss the Elena/Damon chemistry. It seems she is all focused on Stefan now like she was in season 1. Damon deserves to be happy too :( Also, loved Tyler as Klaus. And Caroline's line about having to sterilize her mouth after finding out she kissed Klaus made me LOL! :D

"we are the begining" the begining of what???? love bonnie as always she is my favorite character, witch power!!! only really watch the show for her. love that now i can actually HEAR her spell cast. i wish she would have ignored grandma and saved Elena then Klaus could have stayed in Tyler a little longer. and the boy does not know how to keep a low profile. he was telling everyone who he really is. really? all in an all a c, a for bonnie

I also gave the episode an A. I must agree with MrsMorgan that Tyler/Klaus stole the show! Michael Trevino was simply brilliant in my opinion. I also love the fact that Elena chose Stefan and I hope she stays with him so that the show can focus on other plot lines while occasionally revisiting the lust fest called Delena...For now Damon can stick with Rebecca, after all he has been there and done that. Pining for a brothers partner (not just one partner but two) is off putting. Even friends have a code talk less of brothers.

I agree, where is the show heading, Can't say I enjoyed last nights show, It absolutely made no sense. Elena, just really annoyed me intensely, changing into a vampire, has not done anything for her at all, or for the rest of the cast. It was just bad, nobody shined last night.

What happend to Bonnies cousin from season 2 ? Remember she was Katherines witch and she kind of looked like Wendy Williams lol.In regards to the post about Bonnies witch backup, they should bring her back. She said she would see her again "Cuz" but never did.

started out weak but got good around the middle. love the mysterious psycho religious ending.

I really wish they would stop bringing in new vampires and bring in some more of the Bennett bloodline. Bonnie needs some help with these vampires consistently using her to their own means. Give the girl some back up!!!
