Just one?! This episode was by far one of the best of the series. The moment Matt offered to allow Elena to drink from him, and the way Damon looked at Matt in sort of shocked almost-respect...that was my favorite.
More heroic this week – Tyler all the way. He was the only one Connor knew about, so going up there he knew he would be taking the magic bullet for the team.
Who I miss the most? Seriously? How can you miss anyone more than Alaric?
Favourite scene – OMG, how about the entire episode? It was insanely good. Of course number one has to be the final scene, Damon talking to Alaric's grave. Yeah, I cried... Also, the entire memorial scene was incredible. Especially the moment when they realized it's a trap. Also, as a major Delena fan, I loved the scene with Elena feeding on Damon. So hot and intense. I wish they would just stop teasing us already, because it's becoming hard to watch.
Connor will probably be awesome villain. Villain that we actually hate, since it didn't really work with Klaus.
Elena was wrong not to tell Stefan about her blood problem, but I can't take Stefan's whining anymore. When will he learn that sometimes you need to go the hard way? By trying to avoid that he's actually complicating everything.

Elena didn't mention her biological parents or alarica wtf?! I liked everything but thattohough, and te scene I loved the most was Damon and Alaric scene! I love them both!I wish he could come back to life! He was definitely the one I missed the most, and after that, Anna! I really liked her too!

Love this show and I love Damon because his character is full of deep feelings sometimes human sometimes evil but at the end he is such a complicated person that make us love him more.
I miss Alaric so much I am still wondering why he has to die since he was the one who was mature and the protector of Elena and Jeremy

2. TVD can't do a normal introduction, can it? It has to be either the awkward and weird way like April or out of nowhere Connor. He just appeared on my tv screen and went all CSI on this town.
3. Would you like it if your girlfriend stuck her tongue down your brother's throat?
4. Tyler, he took the bullet for the team. Twice.
5. Lexie. I wish she would appear to give some advice to Stefan on Elena, or to Caroline - the best Lexie 2.0 ever!

Epic episode! Loved it. Some good stories developing and exciting new characters.
Can I just say I actually really like how Julie Plec and the other writers have written this love triangle. They have built up the characters and relationships really really well which is kind of a rare thing in television these days (see : 90210 where not a single romance was ever built up and therefore means very little).
They have to make it believable and tease the audience for as long as possible. It makes the payoff more exciting! Besides, some shows fall apart when their "will they won't they?" couple gets together.
Now I can honestly tell that she is genuinely torn between both brothers (whereas a season ago you could see she liked damon but just in an intrigued by the badboy sort of way- not the way she loved stefan).
Just my opinion! :)

@Ann, you couldn't have said it better about Matt. I also don't understand why everybody blames him for Elena dying. He passed out, and it was Elena's choice to save him first. Why he should be redeeming himself at all, as if he was the one who killed Elena? I do understand he might feel indebted to her (since she sacrificed her life in order to save his), but that's only between the two of them, and Damon (or anyone else, for that matter) has no right to blame him for Elena's death.

Elena picked Stefan so she needs to stop running behind his back to Damon everytime she has a problem. 4.Matt was the heroic one. And he does NOT need to redeem himself because he did nothing wrong. Elena's life is no more valuable than his. 5.I don't miss anyone. Also, very happy there were no Originals in this episode. Wonder if I can get an episode with no Elena, Stefan nor Damon. 5/ Alaric Saltzman for sure. It's unbelievable how only bringing his name makes me feel sad all over again. I loved his scene with Damon it was so emotional, I couldn't stop crying.

3/ Yes, I can understand his anger it's feels really bad to see your girlfriend trusting your brother over you, getting closer to him day after day and sharing blood with him (this "kind of a personal thing")but who can blames her specially after the way Stefan was acting ( so delusional and denial to the truth) so yes Damon is the better person to turn for help (hopefully more than help)specially that as she said before "they have something ...an understanding" plus Damon is more experienced, smart and have great plans. Just saying.!!!
4/ I believe that if not for these 3, things would have ended badly but I'd say Matt& Tyler equally. I think Matt & tyler risked there lives at some point for their friends sake and if they didn't do what they did I think that they would be all exposed. Still Caroline has done a great job, she helped Elena and without her Elena would've been now suffering a great guilt for killing the girl that she used to babysit.

1/ If I have to choose than Damon's scenes. I love his every gaze, move and word and I'm loving him more and more with every episode :)
2/ I hate him he's heartless and creepy. 1st he almost killed April just so he will kill the vampires. Why didn't he just use another blood source instead of using an innocent girl. Then we see his invisible tattoo (I saw in a tumblr a photo where they put his tattoo and Jeremy's promotional photo and it was the same. what does that mean?)

1. All of them? Seriously. Start to finish. But probably the scene in the church where the vampires were all communicating unbeknownst to those around them. Or Damon in the graveyard talking to Alaric.
2. I said it in the comments on the review. Connor is a BAMF. Klaus as a villain was always lame because he's so damned whiney. Connor's a villain I can sink my teeth into. (Vampire joke! I slay me.)
3. In the context of a love triangle, sure, because that scene was somehow hotter than the wood "sex" scene, you know, what with the abrupt barfing of blood and all. (Did anyone else think Elena had gotten motion sick from all the fast moving?)
4. Matt AND Tyler. I really can't pick the bigger hero between the two of them. Slowly, Matt's becoming a character with a story beyond "woe is me."
5. Caroline's dad because I love Jack Coleman. Or Grams because poor lonely Bonnie.

I still don't quite get what's the real significance behind letting someone feed on your blood. (ex:Elena/Damon) Does the "personal thing" only happen between vampires or is it just Delena.
Mikael used to feed on vampire blood is there a meaning?
Sometimes to save others they feed them vampire blood too

The last scene between Alaric and Damon was so beautifully done. I love how they talk to each other but not talk to each other, that Ric wasn't a "real" ghost, that he was only there for us, watching and missing him.

People are saying what about Elena's birth father (John). Of course everyone seems to have forgotten about Isobel. When lighting his lantern Jeremy said, "For OUR parents" and looked at Elena. When Elena lit her lantern she said, "For MY mom and dad" while this could mean Grayson and Miranda Gilbert, it could also mean John Gilbert and Isobel Flemming. Elena remembers the sacrifices made for her and she honored them that night.

CANT wait for next weeks episode
