There will be plenty more beastly action ahead on The CW for the rest of 2012 and into 2013:

The network announced today a full-season order for Beauty and the Beast.

The good news for fans of this reboot arrives the day after Beauty and the Beast rose nine percent in total viewers and 17 percent in the 18-49-year old demographic for last night's episode.

It joins Arrow as the second freshman CW series to earn a back nine order. The prognosis for Emily Owens, M.D., meanwhile, remains less positive.

This is good news. Perhaps more people will tune in if it has a full season as they'll be more confident in it's return next year. This show still has a lot of potential, so giving it the backorder was a good move.
In regards to Emily Owen, that's going to flatline again next week. First CW cancelation of 2012 fall schedule has Emily Owen written all over it.
