NCIS returns with a new episode next Tuesday. Before the team can give thanks in the second half of "Shell Shock," one Marine must help another complete a mission he never expected he'd be facing.

Gibbs continues to work with troubled Captain Joe Wescott (Brad Beyer) while he retraces his steps in order to help the team track down a terrorist. As you can see, that effort is filled with obstacles.

Our fearless leader may not be able to save everyone, but that doesn't mean he can't try, especially for a man whose sacrifices on behalf of the country have given way to a crippling case of PTSD.

On a lighter note, Abby's enthusiasm for the NCIS family Thanksgiving dinner is building to epic proportions, and Tony's curiosity is piqued when he learns Ziva's making special plans for the opera.
