The CW Announces Carrie Diaries Premiere Date
The CW has announced the premiere date for one of its most anticipated new shows.
The Carrie Diaries will premiere on Monday, January 14 at 8 p.m., preceding 90210 in its new later time slot.
Set in 1984, The Carrie Diaries follows the teenage life of Carrie Bradshaw, as played by AnnaSophia Robb.
It chronicles her journey through high school following the death of her mother, taking viewers through life as both a student and an intern at a law firm in New York City.
We've seen the premiere. It's pretty great. Save room on that DVR, TV Fanatics.

I actually think the move to 9:00PM will help 90210. There may be a chance that people may tune out, but 90210 isn't doing as good as it was last season, so I highly doubt moving it up an hour would do that much damage. Chances are that it'll probably do better when it's not up against HIMYM, Bones, Partners, The Voice and DWTS. I mean, I'd rather watch 90210 over The Mob Doctor, who wouldn't?
On a separate note, TCD looks horrible and though I detect a small loyal fan base, I can see it being a giant flop with the ratings. It could probably hold a decent demo (for CW standards), but it won't shock me if 90210 manages to outbeat it.

90210 ratings will go even lower on the 9pm time slot. I know I won't be watching... I don't watch tv @9pm
