The Killing to Be Revived by AMC, Netflix?

The Killing just won't die.
The series was canceled by AMC in July following a second season that plummeted in the ratings, but Deadline now reports that network is working on a deal with Netflix to resuscitate the rainy drama.
According to sources, the deal would be similar to the one Friday Night Lights also struck with Netflix, although in this case the third season of The Killing would air on AMC first.
Fox TV Studios is intent on bringing the show back, announcing immediately after its axing that it would "find another home." With Netflix set to split production costs with AMC, that promise may soon become a reality.
If this deal goes through, production would commence in February.
