Thats too vague...hence, not applicable, I believe in facts. Thats why I say name episode and scene. Should be very simple since that "challenge" thing is one DE fans most common reasons, and yet no one ever proves this with anything, its just "they challenge each other".

to me the answer is obvious. Damon! Stefan is good for her (as Rose said) but Damon challenges her and i dont see why he is not good for her. I was surprised that she piced Stefan, but it's common for girls that age to picj security i think.

There's something missing from my post. And without it, it makes no sense. If I remember correctly, Rose is telling Jeremy that Stefan will always be good for Elena. While Damon challenges her. Surprises her.
What would any of you pick?

At some point in someone's life change happens. it's natural. What will happen if you kiss your new boyfriend in the same spot (on the porch, at the lake houe, in your grandma' living room) as you did your ex? Should you start breaking down or you move on? Or maybe we should move everytime we end a relationship.
Trust me, I'm 33 years old and I'm married since I was 21. There's nothing more dangerous to a relationship than monotony. I believe that's what Rose said to Jeremy. And remember the begining of the show? Bonnie said, after touching Elena, that she saw a crow. Why would Elena have anything to do with the crow? Maybe we should have known from the beggining which Salvatore was destined for her. Anyway, that's my point of view.

Shaun you can not compare the two. The porch is something that is there everyday, of course there are going to be many scenes there. The Lake House was a unique romantic get away for Stefan/Elena, and meant a lot to their fans. It's a big f-u to the other side of the triangle to give Damon/Elena scenes there, out of all the places they could have gone. Stefan/Elena fans are very upset about this, and I think for good reason.

It's only fair Julia. Stefan did encrouch on Damon/Elena's 1v1 porch time last episode, which was a spot for big moments between the two. Nothing seems off-limits at this point.

And that is where I stopped reading. Good to know the only way to build Damon/Elena is to trash Stefan/Elena's history. What a slap in the face of Stefan/Elena fans, well I guess JP's letting her bias run rampant now.
Damon: She's strong and crafty and you'll die. Elena: At least I'll die trying.
