Making Jenny gossip girl is just pure sensationalism, not good writing. It's childish to think that she had the resources and connections to be gossip girl, but then again this is a fantasy show after all, and must be taken as make-belief. It bothers me, though, that while we, the fans, indulged the 'childish' part of the show, we are now 6 years older, and the show is still pretty childish even with all the over-the-top drama. It's easy to write 3.5+ seasons of garbage and then line up a few bombs for a couple of final episodes. Not impressed with the effort. We grew up, but the show never did. That's how I feel about it.
Great episode, but one thing did bother me. Why didn't Chuck try to save his father? Bart even pointed it out, when he said you're better than that. They could have at least had Chuck putting his hand out and Bart still fall anyway. They just made Chuck look bad again. Why spend the last 3 seasons trying to redeem him as a character, just to make him look bad again? Still love Chuck(cause you know it is a tv show and all), but WTF?

What a way to reclaim its past glory, Gossip Girl. This was what the fans needed! Brilliant episode.
And seeing the next episode promo, I am so totally sure that Jenny is Gossip Girl. Reasons:
1) Last week either Auseillo or E online said that a major clue as to GG's entry was let out during the thanksgiving episode. The only one thing that stood out to me was Rufus getting to know via Jenny from London that S and D are dating again.
2) Dan was protecting someone, and who else would that someone be but Jenny?
3) Momsen and Paolo make their cameos next week, so it sort of makes sense.
Either this, or Rufus Humphrey is Gossip Girl. Which, honestly, would be so epic I won't know how to process it!

This was actually great episode and I have to wonder why hasn't all the episode been like this. Also wonder when Dan came in on the plan. BTW Bart was freaking me out when he hopped in Blair's car like that and then took Chuck on the roof. Is it considered an accident or is Chuck implicated because he didn't pulled Bart up?

AMAZINGGGGGG EPISODE OF GOSSIP GIRL!!!! I loved every minute of it and I hope everyone else who watched it did too. It brought me back to the great writing of season 1 and 2. The quotes were hilarious, ending was incredible and Bart completely deserves whatever is coming to him. He's downright horrible and he should die for real this time. If he doesnt I will be extremely dissapointed. God I cannot believe gossip girl is coming to an end next week. The suspense is going to kill me but I'm sure it will be epic and an amazing end to an amazing show.
