Masters of Sex Trailer: Sort of Not What It Sounds Like!

at . Comments

Showtime's new series Masters of Sex isn't quite what its title might make you think (or hope for). There will be strong sexual content - it's still Showtime - but in a context that is both different and based on a true story.

Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan star as the real-life pioneers of the science of human sexuality, William Masters and Virginia Johnson. The series and its clever play-on-words title will chronicles their unusual lives.

In a made-for-TV tale of science, pop culture and romance, Masters and Johnson's career paths took many twists and turns as their research sparked a sexual revolution and made them celebrities in their own right.

Masters of Sex premieres in 2013. Watch the network's first promo for it below:

It's breakthrough drama alright....I really can't believe they have episodes and episodes with basic plot-lines for 'Masters of Sex'.
