The CW Schedules Cult Premiere Date
The doctor will soon be out on The CW. And the mystery will soon begin!
The network has announced a series premiere for Cult, the show-within-a-show drama that stars Matthew Davis (The Vampire Diaries) and Jessica Lucas (90210, Melrose Place) as unexpected acquaintances who look into a series of unusual murders.
It will take over the spot currently occupied by Emily Owens, M.D. and debut on Tuesday, February 19 at 9/8c.
Cult also stars Robert Knepper and Alona Tal.
It centers on Davis, a journalist, who teams up with Lucas' character, a production assistance on a series also titled Cult. Together, they investigate a string of murders that appear to be copied from the storylines on that fictional series.

It may premiere on Tuesday the 19th, but episode 1 is already on the net for those who are interested.
Just watched the first episode and personnally, I did not like it. I watched it because Davis, but the plot really is messed up. It's going to be cancelled for sure.

I KNOW RIGHT ANNIE!!! THE VAMPIRE DIARIES ISN'T AS HOT A SHOW WITHOUT ALARIC'S SMOULDERING(a.k.a. HARRISON FORD)GOOD LOOKS IN SOFT LIGHTING TO MAKE YOU GO INTO HEAT LIKE BEFORE. LET'S HOPE MATT CAN STILL GIVE US THAT RUSH ON HIS NEW SHOW, BUT, IF NOT, PLEEEEEASE COME BACK TO THE VD.

Is it bad that I hope it gets cancelled so that Alaric can come back somehow? I don't even care if it's a Deus ex Machina, I WANT MY DRUNKEN HISTORY TEACHER BACK.

Loved Davis in VD, but the trailer doesn't look that interesting. Emily Owens would have been better.
